What you would you think if Gjallarhorn was nerfed?
Only reason people want this weapon is because it is OP as hell. To create less demand, make it worse. 👌
Gjallarhorn being as good as it is now makes all other heavy weapons obsolete. (sometimes even on activities with different burn modifiers)
⭐Bungie has already said one weapon should not be the answer for everything.

Ghorn is preferred do to its versatility. It's a mob killer and a boss dropper, but its not always the best and never was or will be. People can talk all they want about using it against different burn, but my arc Valedictorian with proximity levels omnigul as efficiently or better. My void DW with tracking and tripod levels minotaurs faster. People believe in the OP hype of Gally because they've never really used other heavies in the right place at the right time. Stop the nerfs. Stop the whining. Just play.

4 RepliesMy suggestion is to make a comparable exotic weapon that is just as good or even better!!! Keep the guns new and fresh and powerful!!! Whith each dlc there should be a new gun that overshadows the last. Quit nerfing guns altogether and start making better guns!!!

6 RepliesMy only argument is that there HAS to be a "best" weapon, and if there isn't one on paper, people will hype one up to be "the best". I get it that people don't need to be saying "must be 34 with Gjallarhorn" everywhere, but if you dethrone Gjallarhorn, something else will take it's place. There will be "must be 34 with _______" always, because people don't want to have to deal with a lack of firepower and don't want to spend a lot of time on things. For example, I beat Skolas first week with a 33.5 Warlock, but I'd never be able to get into a checkpoint now with that level. Why? Because a good majority of people are 34. Same situation with Gjallarhorn. Many people have it, so many people ask for it, because as it is right now, it's the best weapon in the game (for bosses). Now if they tried to make every weapon and stuff the same, why would people keep searching for other guns? If Dragons Breath was as good as Gjallarhorn, there'd be no reason to keep trying to get Gjallarhorn, since I have something that would do the same. There always needs to be a "best weapon", because that's what people will play 600+ hours to obtain.

There is no reason to nerf it, at least in PvE. If they do its because they bent to people who are butthurt that they don't have it yet. It took me until well after TDB to get it. I don't want it nerfed. That said I don't give two schists about Xur selling it. Let him.

Bungie has already said that the ghorn is for big bosses it's not going to get nerfed. Instead they change the big boss game mechanics

5 RepliesWhat they really need to do is add a class of weapons such as Railguns that deal massive to a single target so these weapons would become the main boss killing weapons, while Ghorn would not be the only good boss killer
