On a scale to 1 - 10 How hyped are you for no man sky?

I'd say a 7. If it truly lives up to the hype, it will probably become one of the biggest time sinks for me since Destiny and Pokemon. I'm still cautious that it will be a bunch of slightly different, copy paste worlds though. I'll wait for initial reviews.

4 RepliesAbout 6/10 at this point. Its a huge ambition but I have yet to see anything that truly intrests me in the game. Complete procedural generation could work but it usually gets boring after a while. And lack of social aspects in a game that would be perfect to have them in turns me away a bit. Probably the thing I'm most disappointed about at this point is the fact that the planets respawn and respawn when you get far enough away and come back. If they are rebuilt procedurally then I fear that and changes I make to the landscape would be for naught. So my love of building might not be satisfied. If they would tell us more about the game I might be able to get excited. But as of right now they haven't Really shown anything that hasn't been done before. I guess I'll just have to keep waiting to see if they will show something really good.

3/10 Destiny scarred me in such a way I'll never buy into a hype train ever again. I did pre order Bloodborne (United States) but [b]ONLY[/b] because it dropped in Europe first so there were already people streaming it. It allowed me to see what gameplay was -actually- like. Thus making an informed decision, instead of a knee jerk, hype induced From Soft superfan decision. TL/DR: [b]Don't believe the hype!!![/b]
