Taniks is a dick
No he's not hard at all in general, but if he keeps shooting his Scorch Cannon at one corner, I obviously cannot get past him now can I? It's the small hallway past the Walker, with Epic on he just spams his Scorch Cannon to block the way. Quite a dick move there Taniks.
Any tips to get past him in that situation? Throwing down a Ward with Blessing doesn't do much sadly. Actually the first time I see him act like this as well, on my other two runs he didn't do this.

8 RepliesWe had 1 person run up to him as meat shield while we pelted him with rockets and sniper. The meat shield had the lord of wolves. We killed him in the hallway, took his scorch cannon, then killed him again with his own weapon.

Send in one guardian to lie him to soar, then snipe from way back. If you are soloing, then you can just run in, till you hear him them run back out dodging, ducking, dipping, diving and dodging on your way.

Gjallarhorn or HoC should do the DPS quick enough then switch to solar secondary?

Let him spawn, sprint away then keep stun locking him with black hammer, gets his health super low so when he's in the final room only takes a few seconds

Hes a dick because in the first encounter with him, he will go up to his ship after he cant take dmg anymore and instantly come back down to shoot you 2 more times and go up

Just shoot him for a bit. Once he takes a certain amount of damage he will run away some more.

Try to hit him with as many rockets as possible when he appears after the walker, if you do enough damage he teleports to the final room straight away.

Usually one or two Gjally shots will make him run to the end. If not just spam Solar rockets in his face.

Haven't seen him do that. But we usually just burn him down with Gally and he runs away.
