Another 5 hours wasted
Thank you bungie for destroying this game. We spent 5 hours on skolas and no luck. Two weeks ago qodron was impossible. We started 12 guys doing all end game content. 3 are left and we are leaving too if you dont fix this -blam!-ing game. And before everyone tells me how easy skolas is. Do it with no gjallarhorns like us. We have all played since launch and no luck on rng. -blam!- you bungie -blam!- you.

It's not supposed to be easy. If everyone could do it easily, what's the point? Each week, I have beat Skolas, multiple times, but not without multiple fails.

I had Black Hammer and Gjallarhorn yesterday. The other two guys had Void LDR (I don't know why!) and Gjallarhorn and Ice Breaker and HoC. Every time I've beaten him we've burned him and then dealt with mines. Couldn't even get him to 50% with these two fools. I'll try again when I know I'm playing with people using the same set up as me.

I had trouble yesterday 1st time doing 35 took like 5 hours we ended up beating him with snipers 2 black hammers and a ice b with a weapons of light bubble he couldn't even move took about a minute or 2 I did use about 3 gh rockets at start we went snipers as no heavy synth

Use snipers and do it legit. Its not supposed to be easy. Team work is key and if you have a player die you make a loop around the map a d revive that person. I did it legit last week with void ldr.

Then have Hunger of Crota or Dragons Breath or some Solar launcher after 50%. If your not 34 this is difficult, but as all 34's it can be done. Have weapons of light as well. While 2 sniped we had one guy shoot rocs. When he was out he started sniping and someone else shot rockets. Trial and error my friend.

Use the best solar snipers you can and stagger him until chains break with one person using a launcher near the end of first servitor. When adds start coming, then unload all your rockets for the final burst and switch to snipers if necessary instead of primaries. Really easy if you have blackhammer and icebreaker. --to do this method, I mean. Fight can be hard. We actually downed him four times before completing it because we didn't leave for mines soon enough. Good Heavy MG's do the trick too, staggering and everything.

If you are on psn add FALLEN24 I have the g horn and can help you out. It might just be your strats I've beat him every week. You just need a good team and a sound strat.

Titan WoL bubble plus snipers and machine guns melt Skolas. This week ghorn devastates, but you can do it without ghorn. Play slow and carefully. Move as a group when the pressure is on. Don't stay on a position and get overrun. If you don't have a Hunter for the mines, travel as a group and dismantle them together. Much faster and safer. Don't try to rush Skolas. Nothing is worse than wiping when he is at 5% health.

Instead of blaming bungie for not "giving" this to you, why don't you change tactics or team mates? At the end of the day, some of his content is not for everybody. Why should bungie dumb it down or make it easy enough for you to get when I find it not that hard? Gjallarhorn will make you better just by shear dps but, if you can't get him in 5 hrs without ghorn you may not be able to get with ghorn. Just sayin...

That's a pretty long time. I did Skolas last week the long way cause one of the guys I played with didn't have a void sniper. I haven't done this week but I have to think black hammer will make it easy.
