Look you may have a point but you don't have all the facts ,for instance if you have been with bungie for a long time you would know this is not something they would do note the this all happened when they paired with Activision , the prices went up the story got cut and things went to crap ,but that's Activision trying to bankrupt bungie to get them out of the Fps race and if we give in who know what happens to bungie so I'm sticking by bungie and saying it's worth it and for those who do as well may the light be with you guardians.

You know call me old fashioned, but I prefer to hold off on freaking out about a price tag until AFTER we have confirmed information. And how much do we actually know as fact about The Taken King? Little to nothing save for plausible rumors and really old leaked material? Yeah I thought so. So put this issue to rest until after E3, then bitch all you want like it's your time of the month. If you whining cry babies are going to cry about something, go cry about the lack of a raid. Because the entitlement and inability to grasp the concept that things change in game development is -blam!-ing hilarious.

5 Replies$40 = 2 to a movie and a drink, family of 4 meal at McDonalds, 4 beers and an appetizer at a sports bar, one ticket to the College World Series midweek having to park at least one mile away, one album and 3 songs from ITunes, 2/5 of a parking spot at a Cowboys game, a crack hoe in a sweatshirt on 10th street..notice a trend? The money I've spent so far on the game and two dlc's is more than worth it. I don't have a problem spending another $40 if I'm going to get another 150+ hours out of it.

They really wanted the game to be something else, but its not.. and they can`t get over the disappointment... A LOT of people have played it since day 1, they don`t feel cheated by Bungie.. They don`t cry on the forums all the time.. They actually like the game, and are more then willing to by the next big expansion. Whiners just can`t handle that fact either, trying to talk people out of buying it.. its useless, give up:)

Really.... REALLY depends on what they give us for that money. Wait and see before raging. If it's as small as TDB or How then no... not worth it. However those two hardly qualify for the name "expansion." They could be offering something significant.

2 RepliesIt all matters how much they put out thus far I've gotten my moneys worth only complaint is the fact that the dlc PvP maps are not put in an entire rotation on normal PvP playlists to allows those who have the dlc to play normals and have new maps and old maps in rotation and the crota raid was easy because it wasn't fixed fast enough. They kinda started doing it now but its from the special playlist side really. Another thing is 40$ isnt much to ask as long as the content is loaded with stuff WoW dlc cost 60$ normally plus sub fees but has a ton of content...... You paid the same amount of money for 8 multiplayer maps on cod and halo LMAO complete joke at this point I've logged 800 hours into this game no problem playing with friends. when it comes to story the only thing I wish they would have done is put a way to access lore through in game I understand the story well enough from grimore at this point and get it lol just wish it was in game with a bit more detailed descriptions. At this point I feel like bungie is scratching the surface for whats in store this is an introduction story honestly getting to know your enemies and who they are. I'm fine with the enemies thus far their all pretty interesting and no one has learned their purposes and who they are so I'm not gonna ask for new enemies if i knownlittle info on the current ones now. Btw PoE literally gave away what the hive potentially are on lvl 34 this week if anyone noticed and their are burn primaries which now gives me a reason to do poe.

You realize the "Taken King" is going to be huge, right? Like big enough, it could have its own physical copies, so of course they're going to make you buy it...the expansion pass was only good for the TWO smaller DLC's

i pay 70 € for a game, which i play 2 or 3 hours... destiny with dlc, i pay 100 € and play it since 1200 hours... that´s 0,08 € / hour... really cheap.. So, no problem to pay 40 € for more fresh content... ^^

Okay so Destiny and the first two Destiny DLC packages combined cost what? 80$? I myself have currently 663 hours logged onto the three characters I have EXCLUDING two characters I've deleted, so we'll call it 800 hours for ease of simplicity. $80 to entertain me for 800 hours. $0.10 per hour of entertainment? Sounds reasonable when you consider that the cinema for you and a friend would be $25 for 2 hours. I'll happily be buying the DLC for the rumored price of $40, even if it goes to $60 I won't bat an eye.

There isn't much replay value in the mission, most of the armors and weapons are going to suck. Going through the same area and killing the same type of enemies with different colors and shields. Destiny is a decent game but we need some new planets, new type of enemies, a better boss fight mechanics(not sticking us in a room with a bullet sponge and 100 yellow bar enemies follow by a instant wipe), better equipment, more variety of game modes, and 2-4 raids. The Galaxy is huge so please make it worth exploring
