How would you guys react if there was a movement of people who claimed they felt that their arms and legs shouldn't be working? That they felt they were disabled, despite the fact that they had motor functions in said limbs? Would it be insensitive and damaging to say that they do indeed, have functioning limbs? Would anybody who calls out the movement as BS instantly be labeled as a bigoted intolerant asshole?
Or would that be using the slippery slope?
EDIT: Okay, I waited to get a few responses telling me I'm silly, but now I will reveal that it is an actual thing.

Edited by E_is_for_Evil: 6/5/2015 3:41:56 AMHonestly I would find it insulting. To say that you are disabled but not actually disabled. I don't think people really understand how insulting that actually is to the people who are actually disabled and would give anything to not be. Sense this is a real thing I just like to say FUCK YOU to those people. Okay that's all.

2 RepliesThese aren't really comparable. It's not like transgendered people are doing it to game the system. These people are injuring themselves to get disability. Transgendered are the opposite. They want to be treated as though the don't have a disability, theat they are normal. This isn't even a apples and oranges comparison, it's apples and hair color...

5 RepliesThis already is a thing. Look up the numbers on how many people are on and abuse welfare.

1 ReplyDamn, people like your posts?

If they disable themselves, they should not be allowed to claim disability. All they will be doing is just mutilating themselves so they can get money for free.

That is a thing.
