Take final round off of ALL snipers (updated)
If they are gonna make it so no one else can get final round then they need to take it off of the old snipers too... I dont really see how its fair at all...
Thats like 1 side of people having the op vex while the newer players are stuck with the nerfed one and cant do anything about it..
Edit: I wouldn't mind so much but people in trials abuse the final round perk by shooting twice before they even see you.
Edit: or instead of removing the perk they can just make it so it does not 1 hit body kill people anymore.

I couldn't care less. If you are the kind of sniper who needs final round to be effective, chances are you're not a very good sniper to begin with. Consequently, since they still need to hit you before you shoot them in the head, most people with at least average sniping skills should be pretty alright.

It would be nice if Bungie didn't remove all the old, good perks. But, that is bound to happen when the first thing out of everyone's mouth is nerf. I think they got shotguns right, now it's time to buff everything else to that level (PVE) and return all weapons to the original state (pocket infinity that just kept shooting, "OP" Vex, one shot Thorne). The problem with those weapons before was that nobody had them, now we all pretty much do. But basically we need to stop asking for nerfs and start asking for buffs.

1 ReplyI have a void spear, surplus, armor piercing rounds, and final round. Far from an optimal roll but I love it in pve. I'm newish to sniping in pvp, but I favor p&t. Will I use spear? yes. Will I willingly waste bullets to get to final round? No. Easy fix, when sniped there should be an indication of head/body shot. I think a lot of folks would quiet down when they realize they took one to the head. Are there abusers? Undoubtedly. The crucible is no place for mercy though.

Not saying the PvP has fuking wrecked many of our guns in PvE or anything....... That's crazy talk. That's not essentially what you're asking for right now right? Do you mind if i keep my Longbow w final round? I have never used it in pvp and only play pvp for etheric light. IB went to rank 5 and will never play it again even for the light. That's just me but i'm sure there's a good 80% of the community that are pve only guys. So back to the whole separating pvp and pve thing. yea, maybe bungie should focus really really hard on that so we can have ARs and fusions back to normal in pve. I mean, i know it's a CRAZY thought but what if, just what if they were separate?

read this he defines scrubs as people who limit themselves from certain strategies because they consider them cheap. so by that definition the people calling people scrubs are in fact the only scrubs on this whole site. by the way i am rocking my final round spray and pray spear.

Yeh it's a pretty cheap pathetic tactic...but hey if u need to use cheap pathetic tactics to win go ahead:)...I suppose that's balance, the people that aren't so good at PvP can use little tricks like this to stay competitive

I mean they can't really change it now no matter what. If they take it off old guns then people will be mad because thats a lot of time and notes down the drain. If they change it so that you can get it on new snipers again than people will complain thats its over powered. They're kind of stuck in the middle
