Take final round off of ALL snipers (updated)
If they are gonna make it so no one else can get final round then they need to take it off of the old snipers too... I dont really see how its fair at all...
Thats like 1 side of people having the op vex while the newer players are stuck with the nerfed one and cant do anything about it..
Edit: I wouldn't mind so much but people in trials abuse the final round perk by shooting twice before they even see you.
Edit: or instead of removing the perk they can just make it so it does not 1 hit body kill people anymore.

Final edit: this is a quote from a fellow guardian on this thread that I asked why people see this as a bad thing and are calling me names..

1 Replypeople who play PvE value this perk and if they got rid of it then it would be a nerf to PvE players for no reason... i think they need to make some perks not work in general in pvp

I hope they never take it off. The one and only viable option is to replace final round with luck in the chamber. That way people can't empty rounds into the ground to use to final round but must use all rounds bc it's rng. Personally I would prefer luck in the chamber bc I would prefer the additional damage at the beginning of the magazine rather then at the end.

1 ReplyMake it to 195 a body shot in crucible no matter the impact. In PvE it's great. I love my longbow for PvE but I never actively go for final round on it in PvP.

I use mine for pve. Pvp let people waste their ammo. Special ammo is sparse now anyways

7 RepliesSay it with me "LIFES NOT FAIR". Just because you did not keep or receive a good sniper prior to the dlc does not give you the right to take away mine. (I don't have one with final round, but that's not the point). I kept a few guns and armor hoping they could be upgraded. (I still have a maxed out strangers rifle). Don't spoil the game for others. Destiny allows me to bring in any weapon or armor I want into crucible/iron banner/ ToO. That is what makes the pvp of Destiny unique. Play another game if you want fixed load outs.

The best fix is change final round to luck in the chamber. You still get the 1 shot body kills but you cant aim for the body and expect the op 1 shot. It also wouldnt be a terrible nerf to PVE.

I have 6 different snipes with it and I still agree it should go. I never prep final round and generally use field scout so people bitch about it less. I still aim for the head even regardless. The one time I use it the cheaper way is when I hear a golden gun, etc so I can take them out and remain out of their field of vision.

You cannot simply go around changing weapons people earned simply because you were a day late and a dollar short.... People earned those weapons and even spent the motes to get the roll they wanted... It's ridiculous to change their weapons simply because your bitter about it.

I've got an old Epitaph with field scout, Final Round and Unflinching my Atheon "gutter" - crit hit on the 6th shot with time's vengeance and WOL is worth taking careful aim Never occurred to me to waste all but 1 bullet but I barely pvp

Honestly, one of the reasons it makes this unbalanced now is its exclusivity. No noob getting the game starting from how will get this. Even thorn is a little more forgiving in that respect, because the bounty is still available.

6 RepliesLife isn't fair, and not every time you get shot by a sniper is it final round. I run final, I can count on one hand how many times it has helped me in trials. Most of the time my first/second round get the kill. After that its a primary swap mad blitz to finish the undermanned team.

35 RepliesOff course someone with a negative k/d ratio has something to complain about, get good scrub your stats are terrible. . You should stick to PvE , maybe your good at patrolling the cosmodrome cause multiplayer isn't hour strong suit.

"Cheesy". For example; [i]All bullets prior to final round must come in contact with an enemy guardian[/i], which will force people to actually attempt sniping for real, instead of relying on Final Round as a crutch to win.

I have a final round sniper and I agree it's unfair for people who cl don't have one and can no longer roll the perk. Also it's on my efrideets which is my only good sniper so i would feel like less of a dick using it if the perk were replaced with something else
