So, we've all seen the train-wreck that is Trials of Osiris, and how it embraces unbalanced PvP. The question is how should it be balanced next week?
EDIT: To everyone parroting the same crap ("HURR DURR DURR, GIT GUD"), piss off. You're not contributing anything, or discussing why changes shouldn't be made. I got Flawless on my characters, and you know how I did it? Vex Mythoclast, Last Word, and the Ram. It's boring as shit using and seeing the same weapons and rushdown tactics over and over. If you deviate from this, you lose because PvP is a gimmicky joke. Unless Bungie pulls a miracle and balances PvP forever, it will never be truly competitive.

Games like these are a constant flux of balance and imbalance. Play any other PvP game like WoW and you'll see how many people complain for class fixes and balancing issues, hoping that their favorite class will be OP this patch and someone else hoping its nerfed the next patch. All they can do is make constant changes to it, as it is meant to be constantly evolving. Wether that's better or worse is mostly subjective, but the fact remains the game will never remain the same way for long. The reason it's such an issue is because this type of community is relatively new to MMO style competitive play, most people here are Halo or COD or just casual console veterans who don't really know what it means to play a game that's constantly being balanced and unbalanced and rebalanced, etc.. In sure after the 10 years is up this community will have done some growing. But as for the trials, personally, aside from some cheaters and bad lag, I really enjoyed the trials, one of the most intense, heart pumping modes in the game sometimes. And it's really cool to see a losing team flip the whole situation around. I think for its first run, it did really well. It could use a few tweaks but ultimately I think it's pretty well balanced.

Radar. Get gone.

It would be nice if the spawns switched. Not a big deal.

2 RepliesEdited by T WARBUCKS: 5/27/2015 7:30:28 AMNone. If anything, tournament style. Only playing teams who have the same card as you
as in, an 8-0 team should go against an 8-0 team. Not an 0-2 team
-
It should stay the same. Put the time in like the rest of us and get good
-
Ban exotics
-
1 ReplyI think once you get to the lighthouse there should be a lockout of that character until the reset.
-
Dedicated servers

Always believed no radar would make any fps better.
-
No supers in crucible would help balance it out right away. There's still a lot of work to be done, but I guess bungie is just focusing more on the PvE aspect of the game :(

Edited by livefromphx: 5/27/2015 7:36:43 AMHow about bungie adding actual matchmaking, you know the thing destiny doesn't have at all. Semi good scrubs think they are good cause they get matched with actual casuals. Actual casuals get murdered because they get over matched. You are really sad if you take pride in your performance knowing and widely reported how unbalanced pvp is. That is why there is not and will never be destiny pvp competition.

Leave it how it is...

leave it how it is and quit complaining. I suck at pvp but I don't want it to be easier.

1 ReplyEdited by Turkeybean: 5/27/2015 1:21:16 AMOh hey, another pointless and tear filled nerf thread. Congrats on your useless achievement. Learn how to use other weapons instead of following the rest of the scrub lord sheep. Vex, thorn, TLW are not the only ways to win in PVP. If you cannot counter those weapons then you clearly haven't found what works for you, not everyone else. Keep playing until you figure it out.

no radiance if all allies are dead skillbased matchmaking for myself: better prepare yourself and search for a decent team
-
Why is there no "None of the above" option?
-
No radar for real competitive but no dont be a wuss its fine as is
-
6 RepliesThe only thing I think should change is once someone goes flawless they can't enter again on that character.
-
Not voting lol, this post is biased af. Trials is good how it is.
-
I didn't go too flash last ToO but i think its crack on the better teams go on for the good loot i'll keep chipping away at it lag switchers are rubbish but i got three Olive codes last weekend.

Edited by Sonic Roctopus: 5/27/2015 6:25:42 AMNone. Its honestly the one game type that doesn't need any consideration for change. It is working exactly as intended. Only thing bungie needs to do is keep a closer watch on lag switchers.
-
2 RepliesNone. I think it's fine. You want trials to be more "balanced" but apparently it's fine to have your polls be otherwise. Give us an option for "nothing"
-
1 ReplyWhere is the none of the above oprion
-
Leave it as is. It's fine how it is.

I actually would dig no radar. Also the TTK of every primary in the game should probably be increased.

It is ballanced
