I didn't get a single key after 30 chests. Are they important?

Took me hours to get my first one. Now I'm up to 14, but probably farmed for at least 15 hours this weekend.

I just got one after what feels like 40, they unlock a special chest or treasure after you complete a run through the Prison.

I'll have to farm them some more

They will allow you to get reward for POE more than once the first week on the higher level is my guess.

Edited by Carsonova: 5/18/2015 4:34:28 PMThe belief is that they open a chest at the end of POE. You should get a key for defeating the boss at the end of prison of elders. If you want to replay POE more than once a week though you need the spare keys in order to open the chest again.
