Why are males circumcised at birth?
Why do we allow body mutilation upon those who are unable to consent to it? You can't un-circumsize someone, so why not let them choose?

5 RepliesReally don't know why people are so disgusted by this. Call it what you want, it's not mutilation. Use all the definitions of mutilation in the book, I really don't care. If you think it's mutilation, shut the fu[i]c[/i]k up. Babies won't remember it, boys won't know it, teenagers won't give a shit. It has become a social norm, get used to it. This isn't transvaginal meshing people, this is cutting off unnecessary skin, get over yourselves.

Anyone who says "For cleanliness" or anything of the sort doesn't shower or bathe. Anyone who says "Because it looks good" shouldn't be opposed to parents doing anything to their children to make them look better.

Why do parents pierce their kids ears at a young age? Why do parents not let the child decide what religion is for them? Why do parents not let their kids decide what they want to eat and when they want to eat it? Because sometimes you simply don't get a choice. Yes I am circumcised.
