Rant: Thorn takes 0% skill to use in Crucible.
As above, thorn takes 0% skill to use in the Crucible, fed up of people sitting in corners with it... Needs to be nerfed and I'm probably not the first to think this.

I use it but completely agree. It's way to op. Exotic hand cannons in general need a nerf though.

false alarm guys! just another butthurt kiddo who doesn't yet have Thorn mate, really, i wish you get Thorn as soon as possible, then use Thorn and NOTHING but Thorn, then please come back and tell us AGAIN how OP it actually is imo if Thorn was OP my K/D would be at least 1.0, but it isn't and neither is Thorn ;)

I agree with the main statement. It does take zero skill to use thorn. It also takes zero skill to use rocket launchers, shot guns, fusion rifles and before the nerf, auto rifles. The Crucible is all based on gear and luck, not skill. Gotta get the right gear, or you may want to play something else.

15 RepliesThis is how it'll go: OP had no Thorn, must go cry about it being overpowered in the Crucible but refuses to state the fact he's just bad at pvp and he has no Thorn. OP gets Thorn bounty as random reward. OP acts all cool that it ain't worth his time, the gun is overpowered and lots more BS. OP secretly starts doing the bounty diligently, cause hell yeah Thorn. OP comes to Xyor part of the bounty and cries about on the forum. OP gets carried through the Xyor part by awesome guardians. OP has Thorn and uses it in the Crucible, instant nerdgasm. OP stops posting on the forums about Thorn. TL;DR OP is a douche ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1 ReplyIt doesn't have infinite ammo. It doesn't shoot itself. It doesn't seek targets for you. The poison daggers don't have tracking. The stats on it aren't maxed. It's not a one shot kill. (It's two lol) It takes up an exotic slot. People don't automatically get great by using the weapon. Quit your bitching woman.

I have rarely killed with the poison effect. Usually I can kill with two head shots or a few body and then a head as the finisher. So maybe it takes like 5% skill

Takes more skill than suros, which I'm sure you used heavily when it was op.

He is right. Thorn has the most aim assist of any primary and all people do is sit in corners and pick you off when you wall past.
