Rant: Thorn takes 0% skill to use in Crucible.
As above, thorn takes 0% skill to use in the Crucible, fed up of people sitting in corners with it... Needs to be nerfed and I'm probably not the first to think this.

0% skill? I disagree I have a Thorn lv-ed up to the DoT perk and I have the aforementioned 0% skill in PvP and I get trashed in Crucible. It is one of my worst wpns. I'm more of a pray and sprayer and hand cannons just don't work for me, I do get better results w/TLW but I get even better results with Red Death, Vex, Suros, up for anything, MIDA, he'll I did better with Aethon's Epilogue when I was doing the bounty. You know what truly takes 0% skill... [spoiler]whining about something instead of trying to persevere and get better [/spoiler]

Regardless you still have to get the kill, just because you use thorn does not mean you are guaranteed lots of kills, you still have to use it accordingly. So.... Have a glass of cement and harden the truck up princess!

Just because a lot of people use it doesn't make it op (eg. Suros and auto rifles.)

I have one and I feel uncomfortable using it, I dont know why but I dont like it. I prefer TLW, this is a 0 skill weapon I admit

The only thing I can say is the time to kill on then last word is way too high. I use three little words anyways. I have all exotics and used the thorn when it was rare and hot. Thorn Is over used right now so I'll stay away from using it.

As a person who has both killed with and been killed by the Thorn, it really is easy mode. Do I want to see it nerfed, no, but keep in mind no other gun in the game lets you put 2-3 rounds into an enemy and then casually forget they are their because you practically Kenshiro'd them. "They don't know it, but they're already dead."

It takes 2 head shots to kill with the thorn in 2 shots. That's some skill. Vex is op. Last word is op. Red death is op. Dude if they nerf the op weapons we'll just use something else to kill you with and you'll claim that's op too.

It's not that it take zero skill to use, it's that it is overpowered with the AOE effect. OP weapons will be used by the masses. Honestly ARs need a buff to be on par with all the 2 shot hand cannons (thorn, hawkmoon, TLW). I will also add that it's not easy to use a hand cannon. It takes a lot more skill than any other weapon.
