Does anybody in our large, amazing, wonderful and creative community have any specific information about the Praetorian Foil?
For those of you who are unfamiliar with this weapon, it is a legendary VoG fusion rifle. However, this is all I know about the weapon.
If anybody has any knowledge of this weapon, I would be thrilled to hear what you have to say. Furthermore, if anyone has any specific details, such as drop rate and what not, those comments would be much appreciated.
Hoping to start a thread to obtain some information, as it is the only weapon/gear in the game I still sought out.
Happy travelings guardians!
Edit 1: thanks to everyone who posted. As far as exotics and raid weapons go, I have them all, except for the foil. Which causes me to further believe the extent of this guns rarity..

I got one on one of my first VoG runs long ago and dismantled it immediately because i didn't like the look of the stats, and I'm not a big fusion rifle fan, that is i haven't been until recently. I sincerely regret not even equiping that gun..
-
Received more foils than timepieces
-
In my experience, timepiece is harder to get though i have foil and timepiece 2 each now. It took me forever to get the timepiece.
-
I've had a few of them. Kept one in vault for VoG hard runs, its great on oracles
-
1 ReplyI have neither time piece or foil and have around 40ish VOG's completed. Does it only come from hard cause I never do easy anymore
-
Lucky me then and i still dont have a vex though

3 RepliesEdited by Melphisthedark: 5/12/2015 6:45:17 AMWell, I don't know about you guys, but whenever I equip my foil I can solo any teleport on hard mode. With no problems, and free up my heavy slot for a ghorn :D The fact that it instakills oracles makes it unparalleled in VoG, and I love it when I blow peoples minds whenever I use it :P
-
I've only had the Foil drop twice and timepiece drop twice everything else I've seen multiple times also my drops for those 2 weapons were not where they drop normally, bugged drops in my case, maybe that's why I don't see them
-
5 RepliesI have the foil and all vog weapons, the necrochasm for me is the rarest. I have never SEEN it drop for anyone let alone drop for myself.
-
I don't know how many times I completed VoG HM... but after a while it dropped and it is on my third Warlock (haven't maxed it yet). However, I am still missing the Timepiece, so this is my "rarest" gun - because I don't have it. I will run the VoG HM until I have this lovely Pulse Rifle...

I broke it and the gally down.... ha ha ha

Very powerful gun when used on oracles. I have it maxed out. I didn't even know it existed when I got it.

1 ReplyFoAF is until HoW drops Saturday
-
2 RepliesMine dropped from oracles on hard, it's not anything special though, and people say it one shots oracles but it doesn't. Even if you hit every shot directly.
-
4 RepliesGot it from the Templer on Hard mode, and its pretty nice in PvP aswell.
-
It only drops on oracles.
-
Got mine last week, 1st hard run on oracles. ( followed by FB on Templar) ((But still no G))
-
For me...it is (sigh)
-
Multiple dropped in this game

Got 2 of them

Got it
-
2 RepliesI believe I got mine from either oracles, or Templar on hard. Might still be in my vault if I didn't dismantle it

3 RepliesEdited by iamseanthedon: 5/11/2015 7:21:38 PMI have never in 40+ vog hard runs received this, or the mythoclast. Everything else I've had.... I have however received on 5+ occasions.....4x on titan 1x on warlock(I have each class maxed and use them all) I have had 2 helmets drop at the same time from atheon.... wtf is with that????? Like the game knows I need that mythoclast and foil...yet I get to the end with shards and the game ending spit in my face with a double helmet drop
-
I believe it drops from Oracles on Hard. I don't have it either. The stats indicate a low charge rate/high impact Solar damage, similar to PLUG ONE.1. Not a fan of these types of FRs, but I still want it. It's my last raid weapon as well.
