Thorn poison non lethal in PvP
Before you go ape shit please consider it.
Make thorns poison non-lethal in PVP. Don't nerf it's damage, ROF, or range. The poison would still damage players but would no longer kill you.
It would be an interesting compromise.
I don't care either way but thought of this a while ago

Amount of butt hurt in this post is too damn high. People only read the -blam!-ing title and nothing else. I knew better than to expect a decent debate but it's just "DERRE YOU SUCK THORN IS GOOD DONT NERF IT DERRRRE" instead of talking like a -blam!-ing intelligent adult, oh wait I'm on destiny forums why in the -blam!- did I expect anything different lol.

If the poison made u go to 1% health and stop there that would be awesome cuz your still a shot away from dying but don't die after the thorn went to hiding

The whole point of poison is to be lethal. If you barely escape a fire fight and a thorn round pegs you before you fully regen, it should kill you. It's a total damage per shot thing. Reducing it to 1/3 of its damage is fine. Just takes more shots.

7 RepliesRevert Thorn to its release state. The good Thorn users will be effective with it. If you are not good, adapt to it. If you can't adapt, use a different weapon.

And if that good ol' Thorn don't kill, Damage Over Time will make sure it will. Fusions and shotguns don't you fret, post mortem kills is what we'll get. And if you're still alive, be-ware. There's plenty more Thorns in the Garden out there
