Are you satisfied with the size of your vault?
So... vault space. Are we really expected to do raids for raid gear, find exotics, and now be upgrading old legendaries and rerolling the new ones all in our tiny vaults? I mean, I know I'm not the only one that filled the vault immediately after the last patch and that was just by making some room on my characters so they could pick up the odd engram. I still have sh*t in my postmaster I don't want to grab because I'd immediately be out of room. Are they trying to make app transfers so easy that we should only keep one of each gun?
We've got a new dlc coming with a host of new gear. Where are we going to put it? Should I just junk guns that have some much speculation and potential around them like the Khostov, or the stranger's rifle; only to be told in an upcoming patch that those guns will be made into leg/exo? Just like all the old 300 guns we can now ascend through their terrible new plan for endgame. I've seen all the comments from people wishing they didn't trash their shadow price or fatebringer or whatever. This doesn't make any goddamn sense.
Now I know, they blame last gen for it. They say they can't make it bigger. But then they turn around and say keep all your old gear? WTF
People are also saying this could be an issue for PoE, having to constantly switch guns and damage types for modifiers. That's why my characters run full already! To be prepared for the sh*t! But if I were to only have one of each gun, I couldn't do that. Or every time I wanted to play the game I'd have to spend 20 minutes swapping loadouts from one character to another.
How are YOU handling all the gear and planning for the future? I sure as hell don't know what to do at this point.

I was using my characters as additional vault space before the increase, often leaving ~20% empty space for easier transfers next time I logged in. Then they released their statistics before rolling out the patch saying that only a very small percentage had no or next to no space in their vault. The day the patch came out I emptied my characters' excess into the vault and promptly ran out of space and I now make sure I leave it full most of the time so I don't contribute to them getting their numbers wrong again. There isn't enough weapon space for one of each exotic plus one of each raid weapon (I believe it falls short by three or four). If space doesn't increase with HoW then it will be back to packing excess items on my characters. And if space doesn't increase by the time Comet (or whatever they may call it) rolls around then I might have to just start getting rid of some of them. 'Twould be a sad day.

Just don't understand why next-gen can't have a much larger vault. They already made a change between them so why not another? It would also help Microsoft and Sony push the newer systems to get "free" bonus features in games. I like to keep every gun since Bungie chooses to heavily modify guns every patch. A gun that is horrible today could be godly after the next patch. I've deleted many awesome 300 guns to make room for 331. Now they added an upgrade path and I wish I kept some of the older guns.

2 RepliesI have plenty of space, have just about all exotic weapons, all the exotic armour, all raid guns minus the word and hunger. Stop hoarding stuff that you only need one of and you will have plenty space. None of my characters are full either. I leave 3 spaces in each weapon area and 5 or 6 spaces in the armour areas. The vault should be bigger but it's not actually necessary unless u have hoarding issues. It's too easy to swap weapons now. It's a stupid waste of time to upgrade more than one of each.

I was disappointed, but then I went through and decided to delete the Exotics that I don't/won't ever use and found myself with a lot of free space. I dedicated particular weapons to each character so that they each hold 5 of each (Primary, Special, Heavy) with minimal need to swap later and things have been just fine ever since. Vault [i]should[/i] be a lot bigger, but it isn't - so you just deal with it.

No I am no satisfied with my vault size. Bungie advertise that they'll make it bigger but when I showed it to my GF, she still laughed at its size :( ...wait, what are we talking about again?

1 ReplyMine is full. I went from carrying triplicates on some exotics to just one or two to make space. One option is for Bungie to allow u to "download" an item (shader, emblem, ship, weapons, armor, sparrow) that u had previously owned and had deleted. In other words, it is similar to buying a game from the Microsoft store, deleting it to make drive space, and then downloading it again when u wanted to play it again or upgraded your memory to hold more games. Also, it would be nice to delete items in the post office without having to collect them first. I often don't have room in my shader section to pick up the shader from the post office to then delete it. I don't want to leave it there because the icon remains at the post office.

Nope, If they really plan on this being a long term game, they need to add a muti-page vault for weapons, possible a page for each gun type, that's the draw of this game to me, collecting guns and gear and with factions getting new guns with each update, its makes the older guns that much more special.

Nobody is happy with the size of their vault! Nobody is ever happy with the size of their cock either, but we just need to deal with it.

My vault stays full and when HoW releases I'll probably have to start dismantling weapons that I put alot of work into leveling up and liked but Bungie doesn't approve of hoarders and collectors it appears. Each of my classes are carrying eight necessary weapons in their primary, special, and heavy slot and my vault is filled to the max so I'm not happy but it is what it is.

Nope, I was really hoping for more room in the "General Items" section, that way I would have room for all these damned shaders.

I'd rather see them increase how many weapons/materials you can carry on your guardian. Won't have to keep using the vault then.
