Why do you idiotic gjallarhorn owners give a shit about if xûr sells it?
It's a [b]PVE[/b] weapon it's not one of those scrubby TLW or Red Death that messes up PVP. If xûr sold it how would it affect you? It would just make raiding so much easier for you since pretty much everyone on your team should have gjallarhorn allowing you to down crota with only 2 people on hard

Couldn't care less if xur sold it in fact he can sell my spare for me if he hasn't got any in stock. It's just a gun and it isn't that useful except in the boss fights

I would like to respond to the some of the responders that this may apply to. If you suggesting that you worked hard for your gally drop then you're mistaken. First off, there's nothing in this game that's considered as "hard work." This is by far the easiest mmo out there for gameplay and rewards. Secondly, either the people that currently doesn't have the gally finally gets the drop or possibly buy it from xur is considered to have earned it more than you. They've had to work and wait for it much longer than you. Had to fight in the same battles as you without it. In the end if xur sells the gally, everyone that buys it will have earned it.

1 ReplyThe only reason is because the large majority of players with gjallarhorn had to work hard to get it probably doing multiple nightfalls and raids a week to try to get it. Then after all that work they don't want to get see a level 29 go buy a gjallarhorn from xur after they were carried through two level 30 weeklys. If they knew that everyone buying it from xur were not complete noobs and actually played the game for more then 2 minutes they would be fine with it. But there will always be more noobs so they will never be happy if he sells it.

Guess I'm not an "idiotic" gjally owner. I have one on each toon. Before my first dropped in November I was hoping like fuk xur sold it (not enough time or strange coins on week 2). After it dropped I became like a selfish 6 year old, hoping secretly that it wouldn't be sold by xur, so as mine was even more special. This all changed when Iron Banner first brought out the Efrideets Spear. Not only did I have to reach a high IB rank to get the spear (ok so wasn't really hard, but 10000 glimmer I think), I spent nearly every mote of light I had to roll the perks I wanted (100+). I ended up with a sniper with awesome impact, ambush scope, unflinching, field scout and firefly. It's a beast, and I've hardly used icebreaker since I got it. What I actually ended up with was a gun that had been "fuking earned ." When I think about the time I popped the VOG chest in November, there was no reason why I had earned the gjally more than the other raiders. In fact, is it fair that a 100 hour player could "earn" a gjally while there are other players out there with 800+ hours and are yet to earn a gjally! I really hope it gets sold as a publicity stunt before the house of wolves. To people saying no, if everyone has one it will get nerfed that's bullshit. It gets out performed by truth in Pvp for starters, and there are that many people who have it already anyway making that argument redundant. To spell out the blatantly obvious, the only reason Bungie is holding it back is to keep people hungering for the elusive gjallarhorn, and keeping a chunk of the player base grinding the game. To those who don't have one, good luck, hopefully it's just around the corner!

Only people who don't want Xur to sell it are prepubescent children who want to be the child with the "cool toy" but not want anyone else to have it. I have Gally and wouldn't mind if it drops for you or Xur sells.
