Exotic bounty: Thorn
Does anyone have any tips on how to complete the part where u have to kill using void damage in crucible. Any tips wil b greatly appreciated.

1 ReplyHave a friend come with you and do rumble and then hide and have your friend come to the hiding spot and u kill him over and over thats what me and my friend did

1 ReplyAside from obviously equipping void weapons in all slots, play Control since it gives you situational awareness of the field. You can tell where the enemy is and where they may be going. Hang back and play defensively. Rushing headlong into the enemy will just increase the risk of getting killed. As long as your K/D is above .40 you are making progress. If you are a Warlock or Titan make sure you're using the void subclass since their abilities count toward void kills. I'm terrible at crucible and I did my first Thorn bounty with my Hunter using Atheon's Epilogue, Praedyths Revenge and a void Zombie Apocalypse. It was considerably easier my second time on my Warlock because of the Axion Bolts and Nova Bomb. Don't give up as it's not as difficult as you may think. IMO if you want to feel like you earned the weapon don't play Rumble with friends just to get easy kills. It ruins the experience for the other players in the match and is a cheap way to play the game. Most of all have fun. You're playing a game, not working at it.

1 ReplyFinallllly finished it this week. I thought it was impossible, until I got the Word of Crota. I think that if you find a void primary it works best, just stay above a .6 kd and you'll make it eventually. If you don't have it, I suggest changing your playing style and equip a void sniper and machine gun. Switch to ice breaker when you get you're machine gun so when you die and switch back to your void you'll have ammo already. Also, if it's a map you k ow you're bad on, just leave. There's no point in staying and getting points deducted.

Use a shot gun along with armor that lets you hold more shotgun ammo. If you have word of crota or atheons epilogue use it. If your a warlock or titan use the void special. Follow teammates around.

2 RepliesI did the thorn and bad juju bounty at the same time. Used word of crota my void crash shotty and truth. Took about 2hrs because I suck. Funny thing was I finished both bountys within one game of each other.

1 ReplyThe first time I used a void shotgun and a void machine gun from FWC. Second time I had Word of Crota, Swordbreaker and a Void Valedictorian. Just takes a little time and a lot of patience.

1 ReplyIf you have corrective measure from the VoG, use it. If you have a void shotgun, use it(note: it'll be a scumbag thing to do but at least you'll get it done). Don't use Atheon's Epilogue as it's just a pea shooter. If you have the word of crota, use it. I got it done with a rare shotgun I bought from the gunsmith and it happened to be a void shotgun too.

1 ReplyUse the word of Crota or Atheon's epilogue, sadly I did not have the word of Crota when I had the bounty so I had to use atheons epilogue which sucked, but I finished it in a day, use void special and a void machine gun, good luck!

3 RepliesI used the void heavy machine gun from dead orbit. Did my best to stay alive until the heavy ammo drop. At that point I was Chuck Norris with a heavy machine gun and space magic. lol Not really but it did help me string 4-5 kills in one life at a time.
