If you wont leave after being politely asked to do so. We try to give them a couple chances. I dont like kicking people but mostly comes down to no mic or weapons issues. Sometimes you get a person that wont listen and can make for a lot stress on the team. I have left raids when they start drop someone to bring in a friend instead of someone randomly getting the boot. Its a double edged issue for all involved.

15 RepliesSo I post regularly on lfg that I'd like to run sword for people. I have 161 crota kills and most are as swordbearer. Well last night I was invited to a team and only 1 of them had done hard before. There were 4 31's in the group. 2 thought we were running normal (misplaced lfg post). 4 had no way to regen health. Only 2 tracking launchers. A truth and a gjally, both at 307 attack. Just leveled up enough for exotic perks. None of them had any clue what to do. I took the lead and decided to play teacher, explaining in detail what everybody needed to do. We got him on the 3rd try. Moral of the story- there's no gear-related reason to kick someone, ever. Only thing I'd kick someone for is stupidity. Or maybe an exceptionally annoying squeaker.

He also managed to fart so loud the mic picked it up several times. We get to crota wipe once he calls everyone scrubs and leaves. If anyone is being that obnoxious with their mic on now I just boot em. [spoiler]Hes the one that wiped us[/spoiler]

8 RepliesYou don't listen, no mic (sorry but if i can't hear you, its a problem.) insult my team that does the normal raid on crota in under 20 minutes start to finish 5 man teaming it with 30s and 31s, squeak, scream, come in acting like you know everything and your team leader by 0 votes, or constantly dying by trying to stab a hollowed knight at full heal in the face. Bonus, random join in and ask if we are raiding then leave if anyone says no. No Ghorn? No problem. We can get you better gear. Under 30? Better learn to be good friends, but if your cool like that then welcome. No heavy ammo syths? I'll show you glimmer farming places, then we can buy half a dozen and be good. Just let me know ahead of time. Rookie to the game? Befriend me and let's do roc or tiger for a whole to get you some good gear and THEN raiding.

3 RepliesI'm rarely the fireteam leader but I leave pretty quickly when a group shows a combination of incompetence and idiocy. I joined a group yesterday and the same three people couldn't get past the first three lamps. When we got to the bridge after about 40 minutes the guy who crossed with the sword kept tuning invisible and running around telling me and the other warlock to just shoot the cursed thralls. We were both telling him to just hide behind the thing on the left of the bridge but he wouldn't listen. He died, of course, and started blaming us for not killing the thralls. reddevilnl has left the fireteam The worst part was I have every raid weapon and a ton of armor with different perks. I have only been doing the deathsinger and Crota for exotics lately but I joined the group to do a full run just for fun. It was not fun.

If you have problems in communicating and especially the listening part. So many times I hear the famous words "I know what to do" and they keep -blam!-ing it up. Also stopped doing hard raids with people who are too lazy to max out their gear and weapons and want to be carried every time.
