VoG Rumors That Noobs Believe?
Nothing more in this world pisses me off then a Christmas or later noob thinks he knows more about the VoG than me, when he doesn't. So I'm going to compile a list of rumors that only noobs (should) believe in the hopes that they learn a thing or two.
Rumors:
1) Opening the Spirit Bloom Chest ruins/worsens your chance of getting an exotic from the exotic chest
2) In Hard Mode, it is better to be a level above 30, like 31 or 32
3) You can kill all the Gorgons to get the 6th Chest
4) Running, Double Jumping, Meleeing, and Walking have no impact on the Gorgons
5) You have to do Gatekeeper one portal at a time
6) Atheon Teleports people that are the furthest back/Atheon teleports people in a not random fashion
7) Waiting for the rewards screen has a chance of getting you an exotic
Did I miss any? Which one do you hate the most? Please comment below, I'm sure I missed some.

As for number 2, I understand your thinking in that you will not put out extra damage, your defense is higher so you will take more damage, and no I'm not saying you can take 5 extra snipes or anything but it does help.

8 is true dumbass. You just can't hit atheon's incoming rounds or the rockets with explode as soon as you fire.

12 RepliesThe 1st one is TRUE but it only DECREASES the chances. That does not mean it is impossible to get an exotic, but it is much less likely, i have done my own math on it, so maybe i just have bad luck, or my numbers are right.

4 RepliesYou actually can shoot rockets at atheon through the bubble It's not the bubble that kills you it's the people in front of you that the blast kills you off of If you don't believe me hop into the bubble next time and crouch right in front of the relic holder and shoot rockets It works

2 RepliesNumber 5 isn't necessarily a rumour. It's just easier to do it one portal at a time, for the guys on the outside at least if you're putting two into each portal. Well, that's how my team have done it every time, anyway.

#2 30 does the same amount of damage as a 32 But level 31 and 32 has a higher defense rating and can take a bit more damage.

I've got no problem with people sharing what they believe to be true. At least they are trying to be helpful. I just run by the spirit bloom chest all the time, makes no difference to me.
