Got kicked for not being lvl 32..on an Atheon cp
I was lvl 31.
So..yeahhh. Um, really? To the squeaker who did,(I don't remember who he was because he unfriended right me after) eff you. But seriously guys, it should be common knowledge by now that being over 30 doesn't really increase damage output/input. Also, if I join sporting a mic, Oracle disrupting weapons, and a decent Grimoire score, I think the benefit of the doubt should be given.
Has anyone else ever dealt with something this stupid? I'd love to hear about it
Only Edit: turns out we're trending, people! Also, it's great to see so much support from the community and I'm definitely getting a few laughs in from some of these posts.
I am happy to say that I was able to get into another group and beat Atheon pretty easy. I got shards so, woohoo

Lol, I remember doing VoG normal and some kid kicked me because I was using the relic because he hadn't gone in to pick it up (we're at gatekeeper) and as they were about to kick me, I jumped off the map and made them die. [spoiler]they were pissed[/spoiler]

I joined a raid team with all my under leveled crucible guns equip one time and was kicked instantly before I could switch them. Their loss, they were prob those noobs who are desperate for a Ghorn which I had.

This is one of the reasons they probably should have never implemented a Light Level system. A simple level leveling system that raises the cap every few updates would have been much better. This current system just creates morons and arrogant douches.

Lol at the scrubs that think you need to be anything over 30 to run VOG. I wouldn't take it personally; in fact you might want to thank him for saving you from a massive headache. From the sound of it, you were paired up with some inexperienced players and probably would have wasted time picking up slack and wiping over and over.

9 RepliesGoing full hipster here now but.. the good old times before the DLC.. when we trudged through the VoG on hard as little lvl 29's because we still couldn't get that last missing piece of raid gear. Atheon himself was always such a torture D: Kicking you for being 31 sounds just ridiculous.

You have my sympathies. I did the lvl 30 weekly earlier with a lvl 32 Sunsinger and lvl 31 Defender each with a 2600+ grimoire score. Things went well until we reached Sekrion. They jumped down, with one somehow forgetting his jump ability and died, and hid behind the pillar while I dealed with the minotaurs. The Sunsinger came out to give a hand but quickly died. He self-rezes while I was coming over to revive him and goes back behind the pillar. The two of them stayed there for the reminder of the boss fight, taking pot shots at Sekrion and reviving each other. It's a lvl 30 weekly strike. You don't need to cheese it!.

I'm lvl 31 lock on my secondary account barely created I have done flawless with 4 others twice and 4 manned hard vog it's on my hunter for u haters. Took 6 hours was not easy but any way that being said I got kicked in hard atheon for being lvl 31 Max everything -blam!-ing idiots some people are just stupid and it's usually the ignorant children. Funny thing is I was trying to help I had just beat him but I was helping others moron
