Is truth really THAT bad?
So i joined this guy on crota and almost immediately get booted. They ask me if i have a tracking rocket. I tell them i have truth and everyone mummers "trash". Wtf some were using legendary rocket launchers. Why does truth get so much hate?

I must be so lucky I've never joined a shitty group like that. Anyone so conceited that they think truth won't work for Crota needs to reevaluate their own skills and attitude. A non tracking u leveled legendary is one thing, truth is a fine rocket.

Anything that isn't gally will always get hate by the elitists if destiny. Truth is fine for crota, although keep trying for that HoC it'll be an improvement.

Truth actually is kinda garbage. Did a comparison using it and it was bad. If im remembering correctly it would take 8 truth rockets to down crota. While hoc takes 4 and i forget the name atm but... there was 2 legendary rocket launchers that would down him in 4 and 5. And we all know gghorn takes 2. So yea theres alot of rocket launchers that work alot better then truth. Hell im willing to bet most heavy mgs work better then truth.

I went on recruitment as a lvl32 titan looking for crota cp hard. Almost NO ONE would take me because? You guessed it, no "gally". I have truth as well and know the crota part pretty well now. I went on to do it without dying when agroup finally accepted me. Dropped him very quickly and even had 31s with us. As stated, the group that kicked you was bad. Really really bad.

Truth is awesome, that group was trash. It may not be as powerful as Gjally, but for taking down Crota's shields, as long as you're not soloing it's fine.

If people are still booting you because they can't beat that easy raid with whatever weapons are available then they're trash. Don't worry about it.

I have run hard mode several times and not had any trouble taking him down with one or more Truths firing at him.

4 RepliesI think using the truth or any other void launcher on crota doesn't work very well, from what I can tell solar works much better. For example the first time I tried to solo crota, I used the truth and with 3 rockets I didn't even come close to dropping him but using dragons breathe I got him to drop pretty easily with 3 rockets. Other than that though, the truth is arguably the second best launcher in the game and probably number one launcher for pvp.

6 RepliesI still don't understand why some people are so reliant on gally on the crota cp. All you need is a legendary RL with either tracking if can't aim very well and high velocity. The only exotic weapon that they should use is Red Death or Suros Regime. But I guess there are still some dumb asses that don't switch to primaries after firing a rocket. I have done the raid a few times where no one had a gally and he goes down just quick as he does with a gally barrage.

No. But it eats an exotic slot, whilst HoC or RF or an engram launcher with tracking doesn't.
