Iron banner is a !blamming! Joke!!!!!!!!
The lag is so bad it is really ruining the game.
I dont know how bungie can do this to players.
It is the worst experience and it is really ruining the game for everyone.
Please for the love of God, bungie fix your f&cking servers!!!!!!!!!
Edit: i have played all the iron banners.
Servers are just so shit. My connection is fine.

Edited by pixelmagic: 3/18/2015 10:51:29 PMThe fact bungie servers are useless makes me feel a little better, in the part of the UK where I live we have painfully poor internet by today's standards, I don't 'think' I lag too much (green connection 80% of the time, just very slow speeds) but apologies to anyone who comes up against me and loses out due to connection. Does seem particularly bad across the board this time though. EDIT: just seen its p2p not server driven, maybe it is my fault. Oh well, I'm useless anyway. :)

The lag is not just iron banner... It's everywhere ... Bungie's servers suck, period. They keep doing "updates" and every time is worser...

This two shot gun shots point blank to the face... Then I melee them, they then melee me only. I die they do not and same lrvrl and maxed weapons.

Last night the lag was a joke. Two Rockets to the face wasn't enough stop someone from shotgunning me and then it says a get a kill with heavy after I respawned.

I, for one, agree with you. These forums are just filled with a bunch of crybabies. I have also played all of the iron banners. Connection is just crap, all from Bungie's end.

It's the lack of dedicated serves that causes the issues. Hosts always have the advantage. Which is bs in competitive game modes.

If you have ever played a cod game you will know this but basically destiny doesn't have its own servers, as such it uses the pre-selected hosts connection, if the game is lagging it's because of that game's host, it's not destiny servers.

No Kidding. When the Rusty Banner is in play my PVE experience totally lags all over the place. I'm all for others playing what they want, but geeze.

There are no servers you idiot. It's peer to peer. The problem with iron banner is everyone tries to group up and play teams and they don't necessarily live anywhere close to one another. If you are matchmaking with people in other geographic areas than you there will be lag.
