Deej: Please address Xür inventory data mining
To Deej,
As the Community Manager I would like to see this data mining business addressed for the sake of the Community.
What is Bungie's stance on this?
Will you ignore this and basically let us all keep knowing what's coming long in advance as long as these posts keep coming from the source, or change Xür to another model not so easily hacked?
One of the things I used to look forward to was seeing what Xür has (even as disappointing as it usually is), considering the repetition we have with bounties and gameplay... But now, that's gone.
I am but one customer, one consumer, one post in a sea of many... But I'm hoping you might see your way to addressing this sooner rather than later.
My individual opinion doesn't matter to the likes of Bungie and Activision, but I would think this communities opinions, as the financial lifeblood of your company, should matter. Call me an idealist.
I love playing Destiny. I've put in way more hours into this than just about any other game.
But knowing what's coming weeks in advance will (and is) cause me to evaluate how many hours I'm going to keep putting into it. I'm sure less traffic is bad for business, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Also if people know what's coming, they'll probably just sit back and wait for it instead of playing "as intended".

1 ReplyI agree one hundred percent. I used to stay up till 12, waiting for the reset. Now I know what he is going to sell in two weeks time. It just takes the, I don't know, surprise out of it. I can't avoid it, my buddies are always talking about it. It's just not the same anymore.

2 RepliesSo with the 1.1.1.1 hotfix it allows them to navigate and debug the databases (Most likely xurs inventory) The reddit user/s have been leaking xurs inventory and now with this hotfix they can stop it being leaked Yea you can't tell in advance now but common We all know that he most likely won't sell the gjallahorn (as much as that sucks) But most people are only wanting Heavy Galla Red death Or hard light

Bungie lied again. I'm not even shocked anymore. Just play the game. I've been lucky so far in terms of exotics so I have no beef with Xur at all.
