This Needs To Stop
This is how it went down.
I went to the Destiny forums, to find people who could do the VoG Hard, beacuse all my friends we're busy. And I was bored.
I helped them out by using te relic for them.
I failed once to shoot the relic, due to a lvl 29 Warlock walking in my way.
Everyone starts screaming at me like the world is going to end, but we got through the Templar.
After the Templar, a couple of these guys claim to know how to do the Hard Mode Gorgon's labyrinth. We took about 12 tries, and I kicked in and took the leading role. We still died a couple times due to the jumping section, but got through. I startd to think that these guys are very kind and smart, they just needed to learn more.
I was wrong.
We get to the gatekeeper part. It took us a bit of time till we get the relics, but we ended up fine.
At the Atheon part I got an error in the start.
I wasnt an error. The guys kick me out of the game.
Then they say "thanks for the help, but we dont need you anymore. bye"
Im confused
They invite one of their friends and beat Atheon with me getting no rewards from all the suffering i had to go through.
This needs to stop.

Wow, that's shitty. PSN narcolepticjedi, add me if you want. I've done hard VOG several times with my regular group and am perfectly happy being an alternate on someone else's team.

Still, when we get somebody in from LFG we [b]Never[/b] kick them for one off our friends that logged in. No need to be a dick... If your friends in RL or IN GAME still need to do the raid you can do a Vog or CE a second time. I can only speak for myself off course.

Well, just stay away next time. You already stated you got a group but they were busy. Going to LFG is a gamble, sometimes you score, sometimes you get burned. Whatever works for you bruh.

I voluntarily left a raid group today at the Templar CP on HM to allow someone to join, and it sucked because the group I was with hadn't wiped at all; but I've never been kicked to bring in a friend and wouldn't do it myself.

You have the save point, just get a new team and block the other guys so you dont have to play with them anymore

I never do that. In fact, I'll often trade checkpoints with my clan mates and we will do a raid over so 1 or more ppl left out can get their rewards Since I have every item I'll ever want, I'll leave and let someone else join if they ask, and I'll play some rumble and hang in the party chat to coach newbies through raids. Those guys you mentioned sound like assholes

5 RepliesI stay away from lfg groups if they seem to know each other too well, by first names and stuff... These are the kind of groups that will kick you to bring in their friend who just logged on... Happened before and now I know what kind of groups to avoid... Did they know each other's first names?

I think that for one, kicking anyone at any point of the game is -blam!-ed up and immature. Two, you will experience this a lot until you find a solid group, but your chances of this repeating itself are high when you play with randoms. My main problem is people quitting. The day before yesterday we ran VoG on hard. It took us about 2 hours because not everyone was on the same page but we manage to get to Atheon. After the third attempt at the relic these guys decide to quit. Seriously? Two damn hours and they quit at the finish line. SMH I'm lvl_31. meanwhile all these guys are maxed out. I would love to max out... if I can just find a group of solid guys who play late at night. The grind is real!!!
