Hello everyone,
I am a fairly new Destiny player and I feel like that Destiny could have an increase in quality of life by providing "summarized" tooltips when doing certain things in the menu. Now before we go any further I know that they provide general tips when doing all day everyday activities, but sometimes I get the feeling that I would like to know what I am "getting" out of upgrading/purchasing etc. stuff. An example!
I have had my thorn for about a week or so and I just got it to the last upgrade which requires an exotic shard. I purchased one at xur and I saw that I could upgrade it. I was confused at first because you are thaught early in the game t do it in your inventory context menu. I asked myself why can I upgrade my thorn via xur and does it provide me any other benefits compared to doing it in my inventory menu?
You can see where this is going. So I did upgrade my thorn via xur thinking I would complete it. Sadly I realized that it reset my progression. This is the first time I have ever "upgraded" an exotic to max level so I maybe I missed something obvious while doing all of this. But what I am trying to say is that if there was a tooltip or warning that told me what I was about to do then I would have potentially not reset my progression.
What do you guys think? Is this a good idea or is the current system clear enough in providing all the necessary information the player needs?
