...I let my son grind Iron Banner for me while he's home on snow days?
Or am I an evil genius?
Ok seems like the majority is for evil genius, guess its time to make him grind void kills for thorn as well....amirite?!?
Thanks for the feedback y'all, he's having a blast and actually doing pretty good!
Well, trending topic=awesome!
Now the wife is following it on bungie.net.....#firstworldproblems
Update: the constant dying has finally gotten to him, he's taking a break to watch Nickelodeon. I told him Spiderman hates quitters...
Well basically I told him his first year of college is already paid for so he owes me....he said he'd rather have a four wheeler....kids these days smh.
Thanks for all the mostly positive, and some slightly creepy responses. He had a productive day, we almost made level 2 and got a hard light for our troubles. Hope y'all have a great Iron Banner!
Anyone interested in an update?
he won the jellyhorn
If he's not lvl 5 he's grounded.

Wow that's genius. Seriously. I kinda want to have a kid now but that requires... No thanks.
-
3 RepliesI dont trust my kid with my characters not after I need 1000xp to complete the 9k xp bounty and he dies from a level 3 Dreg.

2 RepliesI've offered my boys $20 to grind one of my alternates to 20...they didn't take it.

1 ReplyEdited by NZTechN9ne: 2/18/2015 11:58:03 AMMy 2 sons (age 6 & 5) get 1/2hr after school chores are done then another 1/2hr after homework. Warlock Story currently LVL18, and Hunter Story currently LVL8. I couldnt go through it all again especially when I am doing the same things with my Titan. The Warlock (Eldests nickname now, since hes grown attached to the character) was sooo unhappy when I sold the Warlock legendary gear for selfish Titan purposes so when the young ones asleep he gets a sneaky extra 15min.

2 RepliesNo. A bad father is bag of words-I-shouldn't-say-on-Bungie-forums (p***) yelling at his kid to stop crying in the new VoG sparrow vid.
-
That's actually kind of brilliant.
-
Dont feel bad my 11 year completed my bad juju bounty and does daily.bounties for me.

12 RepliesMy wife is playing iron banner for me. I can't stand crucible and she loves it. So win for me
-
1 ReplyDude I tried to teach my wife how to play so she can take care of my account when I'm deployed, long story short, she almost dismantled a few exotics trying to equip them.... My account is better off untouched.

Evil genius! I got my 7 year old nephew to level up a new character for me when i went out for a few beers, told him if e gets me to lvl 15 ill give him £50, got me to lvl 12 lol
-
I got my 12 year old to do Crota on hard :) I'm now the proud owner of Word of Crota and the Glowhoo shader which shows off my outstanding prowess at the game for all to see.

Am I bad gentleman if I don't clean my top hat? The answer is yes only buffoons neglect the care of their top hats. I am a dapper gentleman! I am no buffoon!
-
You are simply preparing him for what lies ahead. He will have his own Guardian and he'll value the experience his wise father gave him.
-
LOL such a great dad :D
-
No, if he's having fun he's having fun.
-
Don't feel bad at all. I have mine doing the same. My son's almost as good as me (almost) and he's better than his mother. Only thing is I have to let him wear his Batman Cape for two days. He quit playing after 2 hours, because of Destiny's Servers...

3 RepliesMakes me almost want to have kids. Almost.

2 Replies4wheelers are more useful than a college education.

.... I told him Spiderman hates quitters...
ROFL I am now considering adopting a child for IB, and returning it afterwards now.

HAHAHAHA PERFECT!! You've cheesed the game without even playing it!
