The Unspoken Code Of Iron Banner
1. If you're a scrub, don't play Iron Banner. It's unfair to your teammates to have to carry you game in and game out.
2. If you're under level 30, you better be -blam!-ing good.
3. Don't use the McDonalds connection from 3 blocks away.
4. Use your primary for at least 1 kill per match.
5. Thorn is for pussies and bad kids, but we can't stop you from using it.
6. See rule 5, replace thorn with any fusion rifle (yes, including Vex)
7. The machine gun headshot bounty is there for a reason. [hint, hint]
8. Stop camping, you're probably just hurting your team by spawn trapping them.
9. No T-bagging. It's discraceful and disrespectful to your fellow guardian.
10. Don't quit. Quitting not only proves that you're trash, but can screw your team over, and that's not fair to them.
11. (Optional) Play with a fireteam! Playing with your friends can boost your morale and ultimately lead to better play, and a better experience.
Have fun and remember, there's only one path to victory guardians!

20 Replies1) tough I pvp for fun not to be a prick like you. 2) under 30 and still dont care and wont. 3) I use what I have, dont like it pay for my connection, not buying more for your fun. 4) I will use what ever i want for kills, tough if I choose sniper and only sniper all match. 5) crying what someone uses in a game is for pussies. so will use thorn if I want and dont care. 6) replace thorn in answer 5 with fusion rifle 7) dont care, not just going for headshots just because you say so. 8) No, I play how I want and if taht is to camp then I will be camping. 9) I will t-bag if I feel like it, tough if you dont like it or it gets me killed. 10) tough if match is too laggy will leave and not care if leaves team a man short and causes them to lose. 11) nope a lone wolf here so will be alone and not running around like the idiots who do. remember boys and girls play like the OP wants so he has the most fun.

in reality, 1) -blam!- everyone else im using my thorn/found verdict, finding a hallway/corner and protecting my k/d. 2) if it is at all possible to be a -blam!-, I'll do it. tbag, orb dancing, and fusion rifle sprees included it's funny in the last IB, every game I won had someone with a k/d as high as mine with no captures on the other team.

Some day I hope the PvP "weapon whiners" and "super sissies" finally realize that PvP isn't any different than going up against the boss in a tough mission whether it's a lowly Fallen Baron, the Wakers of Crota, the Templar, Omnigul, Atheon or Crota himself. Your first order of business is staying the hell out of the way of whatever they're throwing at you or you -blam!-ing die. Nobody stands there and has a toe to toe weapon slug fest with the Templar no matter what they're packing or they're toast. PvP is no different. If you hear the "thwack" of a Thorn in a match you know there's a one hit kill waiting for you if you aren't on your toes so either hide from them or outsmart them. People rock PvP with a Khvostov, for crying out loud. It all comes down to the skill of the player. That's what you need to beat, not their weapon. Period. Overcome. Adapt. Survive. Or stay on the porch lil' doggie. Sincerely, a PvP n00b.
