The Unspoken Code Of Iron Banner
1. If you're a scrub, don't play Iron Banner. It's unfair to your teammates to have to carry you game in and game out.
2. If you're under level 30, you better be -blam!-ing good.
3. Don't use the McDonalds connection from 3 blocks away.
4. Use your primary for at least 1 kill per match.
5. Thorn is for pussies and bad kids, but we can't stop you from using it.
6. See rule 5, replace thorn with any fusion rifle (yes, including Vex)
7. The machine gun headshot bounty is there for a reason. [hint, hint]
8. Stop camping, you're probably just hurting your team by spawn trapping them.
9. No T-bagging. It's discraceful and disrespectful to your fellow guardian.
10. Don't quit. Quitting not only proves that you're trash, but can screw your team over, and that's not fair to them.
11. (Optional) Play with a fireteam! Playing with your friends can boost your morale and ultimately lead to better play, and a better experience.
Have fun and remember, there's only one path to victory guardians!

Played the last couple days as a level 29 hunter. I would occasionally come out on top with about a 2.0 k/d playing against teams of lvl 31s/32s. So much for "Level Advantage". I know I'm not that great but if I'm a level 29, and you get killed by me when you are a 31 or 32.... I'm gonna give you the "ball plop". :)

I'd prefer you stay out of iron banner if you're not trying to win, but beyond that I'm not concerned. That said, fps games attract selfish assholes like ants to honey.

I'm level 28 and usually carry my team. Unless I'm working on a bounty. I did the same in to he first Iron Banner when I was like level 22 or 23 or something. Thorn #masterrace

And they weren't in a party with anyone else in the game, I don't even know how they got into the Iron Banner to begin with, but it didn't end well for them. So frustrating. Why on earth would anyone go into the Iron Banner with green and blue gear equipped? It makes no sense at all. edit - I propose a new rule as well: If your gear isn't fully upgraded, don't use it. You're a liability if you're not doing full damage.

So basically you only want people to use primaries because you're not good enough agains special weapons? In my opinion, if you haven't killed me by the time my pocket infinity charges then it's your fault, the charge time gives you enough time to headshot me. (it's one of the slowest charge rates in any fusion rifle, I've seen common and rare fusion rifles with better charge time)
