The game is dead for veterans.
Bungie, Work more on your game. I will come back when house of wolves is released and rate it. I bought the game, spent a lot of time on Destiny and I am happy with my purchase overall.
- The raid is so glitched and bugged that it is a pain to play it. I didn't expect it.
-Crota's End weapons are the same old weapons with hive doodoo on them, most of them are useless (word of crota can't replace fatebringer, necroshitasm can't replace Vex). Everyone will use Fatebringer and Vex because WoC and Necroshit are shit lol.
-Dark below exotics are horrible as well. Who would use [b]Dragon's DooDoo or 4th Kittyman or No Land To Stand On[/b] if you have Ghorn or other super duper exotic weapons.
-Xur is useless.
-Strange coins are useless.
-Exotics Shards and commendations are useless.
-The same bounties over and over again. The same shit every single day. idk how people who have been playing since day 1 can still do it.
-Nightfall rewards are pretty useless. Energies and shards or strange coins (yes....). - Bungie, who the hex need them being 32? !
If House of wolves is so bad people will not buy the Comet and the game will die. Damn, [b]i don't want it.[/b] Bungie, please think about it.

21 Repliesim a veteran i got over 1200-1300 hours, them ppl only have "hundreds" are not veterans lmao. now,... i just play crucible, i got my nerfchasm in crotas end and thats the last time i played the raid...(nerfchasm blows), i play crucible and do my bountys and iron banner and thats it, for just one of my characters, after i jump on minecraft for a bit and then watch movies. thats how bad this demo is. i dont need alllllll weapons , i only use a few , i dont use any of the crota raid weapons I dont know why im trying for iron banner as all it gives is nothing that i want,.. lvl 32 vs 32 are the same as normal crucible and since 99% of us are 32 , IB is a joke lol. I love killing ppl and thats why i stay, but doing raids and repetitive small tiny missions is just plain boring. theres not enough and i said that from the start, crucibal is challenging as its always different each time i go in, if it wasnt for that id delete my copy in a heartbeat. I use the vex,legendary void rockets with proximity explosion and and the void sniper from the vog raid, its all i use in the crucibal or from a sniper to my shotty depending wich 2(only? wtf) maps that is there. IB should just stay forever, by the time it comes back more ppl are leaving no one wants to wait forever. we only get to test our gear once a month wtf is that bullshit?! ps: I still dont know wtf the darkness is lol

Nice to see this topic still up there. Maybe change the argument? What constitutes a veteran player? I'd say at least day one or beta and alpha players. 500 hours game time At least one 32 (because I only have one) Complete all raids on both difficulties

I dont really think its dead. Its just, in need of taking a break from so we can play other games and enjoy thise experiences. I'm currently playing Final Fantasy Realm Reborn. That game is INCREDIBLE! I plan on taking a peak back once 1.1.1 drops just to try out the weapon rebalance in pvp. Thats about it.

I actually like The 4th Horseman.. I do however understand what your getting at. My opinion ? There just isnt enough content and there is not enough variety in their content. I do like this game I really honestly do but I havent logged on in about 3 maybe 4 days and at one point that was unheard of for me I literally played every day. Hoping House of Wolves will rejuvenate my enthusiasm for the world of Destiny.

I get what ur saying. But for me as a day 1 vet, there is still stuff to do. I'm a collector so I want all exotic weapons and armor and I need to level everything to the max. And then there is pvp. Not great but with a team it can be fun. So it's all about taste. I can't see any game have enough content to play after 6 months and still be new or challenging.

7 RepliesHate to burst bubbles but the game died as soon as the Vault of Glass came out and was completed many times over. Bungie and Activision's focus is not the smarter gamers. It's the endless waves of Christmas Noobs that fork out hundreds of smackers to continue playing a game in hopes of getting anything and very thing as a reward. End of point. That's it. Nothing else. Nada. Badabim badaboom. Zilch.

I really only get on destiny when my friends need me for the raids or just wanna play, I've got 3 32s and am seriously burned out from the grind. I can't even bring myself to do daily bounties anymore, it's just so painfully boring now :/

As someone who played a decent amount, and has not played consistently for the past month and a half, I agree with this. I feel I got my money's worth out of the game for sure, and am not disappointed with my purchase, but I am disappointed with the game since I was expecting something much more than what I received. But it was fun. I payed to play a Beta , basically .
