Alpha player here, not bored yet, still stuff for me to do. Complete a Raid on Hard, not yet. Get the VoG weapons, only Hezen Vengeance. Collected all exotics, not even close. Mastered PvP, doubt that'll ever happen. Got all 3 classes to 32, just my Warlock. Still playing here, still enjoying it and can't wait till House of Wolves :)

Sorry guy but you don't speak for all vets. If you're done fine, but I know a few players that were day ones and still play everyday. To make such a general statement is foolish.

The Dark Below DLC has been a let down and waste of money. It expanded nothing, gave us a boring raid that can be soloed, terrible loot, rehashed raid ship an sparrow.

Well it's not just Destiny almost every game that has come out, is coming out, or is about to come out seems to be like this too. All the call of duty games for the new systems are all shit. All the assassin creed games for the new systems are shit. Titanfall fun for the first month then shit. WTF IS GOING ON IN YOUR MINDS YOU GODDAMN DEVELOPERS?!!!!! ARE YOU ALL SMOKING CRACK?!! ARE YOU NOT SMOKING ENOUGH CRACK? IS IT CAUSE YOU STOPPED SMOKING CRACK?!!!

If and when the game gets released to the PC audience, with full mod authority- that's when this game will be fixed. Otherwise, in the hands of shrewd, money hungry shareholders, this game will suffer a slow and agonising death. The reason why is game sucks so bad, is not for what it isn't, but for what it could of been. Destiny has so much potential that is intentionally hobbled down to grease the last dollar out of. We are saddened because this game is so beautiful, the fun could of been so epic, and the story could of been legendary; but for one reason this game isn't allowed to flourish, it's own creators are aborting a masterpiece. That's why Destiny is the game community's gravest disappointment. No other game hasn't broken a heart so badly as Destiny has in our generation. In a way it's the official end of an era. Games won't get any better unless we, as the consumers, change it. I haven't given up on it yet, but when I'm finally completely done with it, I will probably sell off my game console and take a vacation from gaming altogether.

If you compare every weapon to the best weapon, you will always be disappointed. If you can't figure out how much fun the No Land Beyond is in PVP, how satisfying it is to watch the Dragon's Breath do it's thing, how great most of the raid primary weapons are in their own right, or how fun this game is when you have no one direction left to go in, you really aren't enjoying the game. If you just want to have the best, all you need is the Fatebringer, Black Hammer, and Gjallarhorn and you are done. If that's your goal, you are doing it wrong.

I can see your points And so should Bungie So in the midst of that I think as a community we can do better. Let me explain... We are still pretty fresh into 2015. Competitive gaming has come a very long way. I remember the days where I used to stay up for hours playing my family members in Goldeneye and feeling like the ultimate badass when I would hipfire a Golden gun dead eye accuracy. I was 10 Fast forward to 2015 and now we're no-scoping people with orbs that track your enemy. Obliterating masses with a single fusion rifle round, or sweeping teams with dancing glowing samurais. Bungie, you are one of the biggest innovators in the world when it comes to competitive gaming. So what's the problem?... Personally I don't think. Gaming is being taken seriously enough. Some people have invested (like myself) enough hours of gaming to be at a mastery level by all psychological definition. (10,000 plus hours) at this point competitive gaming starts to drift away from being a hobby into a sport. Factoring Oculus Rift, An ever growing gaming community, and the sheer ability of better gamers emerging everywhere...the community needs/demands something better. Enter Destiny. The MMO that changes console gaming. Let's not forget the title. I mean how much heavier does it get than that? Destiny. An ever eluding, ever present persistence in your life. A game with an initial 10 year plan, backed by two of the biggest names in the industry. This game has all the tools for success. But one... A reimagined competitive battleground. At the end of the day, the idea of Destiny is absolutely phenomenal. Yet, it feels empty. Could it be because this game has the potential to change the industry? I definitely think so. I think I can safely say this for the rest of the gaming community when I say this to both Bungie & Activision, we don't want another COD that will die in a year. And we don't want another franchise that will be sold off to a third party Company after the money is made. Sadly Destiny carries both of those elements to heavily. We want a long lasting SPORT. Why else do we put in countless hours to get the BEST gear, the BEST moves, the BEST matches? Because at the end of the day everyone just wants to be the best they can be. Bungie and Activision, I beg of you from the heart of the gaming community... You are sitting on a diamond in the rough. Instead of making people pay for DLC make them pay for a best of the best tournament that releases exclusive gear to the victors. Hold these more often. Get some airtime and televise these matches. Don't just do it once, do it more. Bigger and better each time. Make Destiny the football of gaming. Exploit every aspect of this amazing creation. If anyone can make this happens for us, it's you.
