20+ hours still no Husk of the pit
I spent more than 20 hours (accumulative) killing blades of crota and I still haven't gotten the husk of the pit.
Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

I have the same problem, I've only spent half the time you have tho. PS - my friend got it first try, didn't even know what it was. (So frustrating)

I got it randomly just patrolling the moon, killed a few sword bearers and bam got it

I got it on my third Blade kill. Your luck must be horrendous.

I had an old bounty to kill 15 hive with sword on earth today and I got the husk on the first kill man. Already got necro though. You'll get it eventually!!

I just got one for killing sword bearer with my sparrow. It takes a while to pull off but so far 100% of sword bearers I have killed with a sparrow have dropped husk of the pit.

Try less, i get this shit when i dont even want it. Besides nechrocasm is terrible outside of using it for fun.

1 ReplyI still have not recieved one! Keep thinking I will eventually get one from normal play, but nope. Tried farming one, nope. Heard it kinda sucks so I stopped caring.

I've gotten five or six of them, most of which (maybe all, not entire sure) came from killing Blades during moon patrols. RNG tends to reward you once you stop trying so hard and just play the game. That aside, Husk and Eidolon Ally are both pretty useless, and from everything I've heard and seen about Necro, it's no better. Waste of time unless you're just a diehard weapon collector, especially since Bungie is getting ready to nerf the shit out of auto rifles.

Not sure your method but fastest way I found was fist of crota mission hop on sparrow ride past everything to the acolytes kill orbit repeat. Get a kill every minute. Have helped a few people get it this way. Most times I've seen it take was around 30.

1 ReplyI wouldn't waste your time. When it happens it happens. It's a crappy auto rifle, even when you upgrade it to a legendary it's pretty bad. The necrochasm is just a all round bad exotic in general. It's not worth an exotic slot.

Got 7 taking up space in the vault. I level them up to legendary and scrap them. Get one or two a week killing the blade knights

I tried and tried for weeks to get this to drop. I even googled tips. Nothing worked. I finally said to myself -blam- it! And gave up completely. A week later while wasting time with a buddy patrolling earth waiting for our raid group to get on, I had 2 drop. I was so pissed/shocked that I dismantled one in rage.
