Reaching Atheon on the sparrow: CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
I'm ready for this great adventure... I've calculated every single detail...if my fireteam follows my suggestions and just works to protect me (destroying my templar's bubble for example), i can triumph and be come the God of the sparrow riders!
No fear about the jumps...i already know how to deal with them...
And if i'm lucky with the teleports, i could also beat him on it!

12 RepliesDude, don't do it. Why do players KEEP doing stuff like this? It's ruining the game and life in general. Always trying to cheese stuff, haven't you seen the multiple times Bungie has said we are playing the game wrong? ! Here you go and attempt something else that doesn't follow the script. This completely open and sandbox world Bungie created is ONLY supposed to be played a specific way with one path - they even put invisible walls to HELP you not get lost. If you do this, they will patch it - and skip all the other bugs we've asked for fixes. You sir are ruining Destiny. God please stop trying to have fun in creative ways and go do ROC 35 more times (wait only 20 since there's a limit on currency - again to help us play correctly). #conform Peace G

I made it to atheon before. It's not that hard. You get to jumping maze like usual, then your team does it while you go back, get on your sparrow at start and drive down and then it's just simple gatekeepers

62 RepliesI bet you any amount of money you cant get to the chest with the spirt bloom after the templer is killed on your sparrow. unless some how you have a jump button on you sparrow which I don't think you do :) fail

I plan on waiting until all the DLC is out, getting to max level and a maxed out Thorn to final DLC damage then do the entire vault of glass ONLY using Thorn.

7 RepliesIm sorry but I guess you will stuck in the path between the gorgons and the jumping maze. There is one part where you have to crouch threw. There is no way to get your sparrow threw. But good luck have fun

4 RepliesI feel like the platforming will be your downfall. How are you gonna get it to drive along that little edge that you have to run along before jumping to the doors to atheon.... Unless there is another tunnel or something you can take that will let you shoot the gap right onto that platform idk if it can be done.

I am laughing at all the pathetic people on this post that actually take the game as serious as they do. If you want to try this challenge go for it. People keep saying you are a noob for having people carry you but do they fail to realize that this is for fun and just to add a new edge to the raid? These kind of things happen when there really is nothing else to do in the game besides collect your shards or coins from the nightfalls lol

6 RepliesEdited by Nyx Moontide: 2/4/2015 7:38:59 AMNah man, you need to do it with a pike. Plus, when it gets damaged, you can just park it and get off, kill stuff, then come back to it, unlike a sparrow which would disappear after a few seconds unoccupied.
