Stay away from them, or, stay in very small areas with a good range shotgun, Vex is primarily only lethal at Medium-close range, too close and you can beat it, and it's pretty easy to take out at long range, quick kill guns always work too IE, Snipers, Shotguns, Fusions rifles, Hawkmoon, thorn etc..
