The title says it all.
it just means you got lucky
Edit: thanks for the many responses.
Just for the haters whose comments are always welcome here. I barely use launchers. Don't really think the ghorn will change my mind.
The whole point of this post is to stop being an elitist prick about having the ghorn. You don't need a full team of people with ghorn to raid. Just be cool and show the others the way.
Edit 2: It's a funny situation for me here today. Because I just "earned" the ghorn. I'm very cautious by using the word earned because I got carried by two peeps in the nightfall. Thanks to khande22 and spawndertsk who deserved it more than I do. How do I feel about this weapon. It's a fun weapon. But it's not the weapon that defines the player but the player himself. Although, I won't suddenly turn into an elitist prick who would only raid with gjallarhorn owners.
Carry on Guardians! The light is strong with you.

1 ReplyIt doesn't mean your good, it does mean you have the best heavy weapon in the game an important tool if you will. I mean would u hire a dentist with the new shiny tools or the guy with the pliers and a hammer. The both get the job done right?
-
29 RepliesI have 3 which makes me good.
-
3 RepliesWhat you really need is the ruin wings. Everyone reveres these heavy weapons, but when the heavy drops are raining I'll ghorn any hobgoblin that so much as looks at me funny. No good having a full magazine when you're dead. And it's no good having an empty magazine if the enemy ain't dead.
-
4 RepliesI worked hard for mine I bought it week 2 Which means I put in the time to get 17 coins And I beat the weekly both 1st and 2nd week with some good players And beat nightfall both weeks
-
Does having three mean I am good?
-
2 RepliesBut having 2 does teehee!
-
8 RepliesFor invitin people from forums, I look at their grimoire
-
1 ReplyThanks for clearing it up for me, here I was thinking I was good. Damn.
-
1 ReplyIt does mean I do 2x the damage as you tho #skill
-
2 RepliesThere are 2 forms of skill. Skill of the tool and skill of the wielder. Gjallarhorn is a weapon that has skill in the tool. However an example of skill in the wielder would be a guy that's in 1st in crucible using NLB.

5 RepliesEdited by MLG WeeZy08: 2/2/2015 3:49:44 PMRandoms don't get invited for hard mode unless you have glowhoo and Gjallarhorn
-
True that it doesn't make you have skill it just shows that your a more viable player not only is the Gjallerhorn good for crota all that is needed is a rocket that can lock on to a target or have cluster bombs Gjallerhorn is the perfect weapon for the job
-
It does mean my rocket launcher does more damage though....
-
1 ReplyIt means you don't have to be good. Even someone shitty can shoot rockets. It's nice to know a rando has it so I don't have to worry about then sucking quite as much. Cause it helps shitty players do better.
-
2 RepliesYour spoiler is wrong, I had to beat the weekly to get my coins to buy my g horn then use my glimmer to upgrade it
-
1 ReplyYeah all I did was open a chest to get mine, I'm very grateful but don't think I'm better than anyone due to chance.
-
2 RepliesOwning a g horn doesnt make a player bad or good... But it does help improve efficiency...
-
1 ReplyThis is so old. I sincerely hope this isn't the M.O. of these forums, "recycle your drama!." It's so emotional, like endless content for cringe. I come here looking for information and I get emo kids having a food fight allll the tiiiimmme. It's only really worth skimming these forums immediately after an update/DLC.
-
And why would it?
-
1 ReplyNo, but id rather have a noob with GHorn than a noob without one.
-
1 ReplyThey help me do this
-
1 ReplyThe only thing that having it or not having it indicates is that RNGesus loves You or don't.
-
1 ReplyI have two, and I'd rather use a Red Death. Reasons why, the Gjallahorn looks like shit. The Red Death looks bad ass.
-
2 RepliesBut it can make you better
