How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

TLW, Hard Light and basically anything scout rifle/ sniper rifle as the range falloff on the Mythoclast is pretty harsh.

Play at a distance. Even with "send it" the damage drops dramatically with distance. And alliteration.

Thorn Last word Another vex Fusion rifles Very low bottom clip suros regime. It does suck that you need certain weapons to deal with the vex.

Yeah, yesterday I encounter the same problem; vex, vex, vex...everywhere; got a little frustrated...at the beginning...after that I remembered that I'm using Thorn; and I was imagining what they feel...:) ; yeah...not so king anymore...

Seriously, it doesn't matter what weapon u use. The one with the most head shots wins. Period. Practice more. Move around more while shooting

My personal favorites: - Hawkmoon (Boom boom and away) - Thorn (You can run, but the thorn is killing you anyway) . TLW (Just look at this bullet hitting your head, and this one, and this, and this...)

Any weapon that can stand it's own in crucible vex isn't that good in crucible any decent hand cannon or higher impact autorifle can beat it if you are skilled enough

1 ReplyI've beaten out Vex with nearly any type of weapon. TLW, Strange Suspect, Three Little Words, Thorn, Confluence, Red Hand IX, Vanquisher, overall though, if say my Thorn probably has the most Mytho-kills. There honestly is no trick to it, just have a better aim than the other guy and get the first shot.

High impact rounds and weapons ruin the vex's stability. Making the shooter miss you a lot. Use that to your advantage Any auto that shoots faster. Any scout at the appropriate range. High impact pulse rifle from medium range headseeker and high impact rounds for ruining their stability extra hard. Sniper Shotgun Fusion rifle
