How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

Use any other gun because the vex isnt that great?

1 ReplyThe same way I counter any other gun; I equip the exact weapon and see who is better with it. If they are using Thorn I'll start using Thorn, etc. Played against a team of 3 the other day in Salvage all using Thorn. We were dying a little more than I would like to admit until we all equipped Thorn as well. Game continued for about 2 minutes and they couldn't get another single kill and backed out of the game. If a gun is "OP" the best way to counter it is to use it against them..

2 RepliesYou need to keep your distance the vexs range blows so use something like a pulse rifle scout or hand cannon

Distance my friend. Outside of close-mid the Mytho is hard to keep accurate.

Easy, hawkmoon, thorn, suros from range, if your aim is decent you can even use the AR from New monarchy.

1 ReplyI don't play crucible much these days, but when I do I always bring my vex in one hand, and a bucket in the other.

Hawkmoon, Thorn, Suros, Shadow Price, Plan C, Pocket Infinity, Patience and Time, etc.

Shoot with precision thorn, he is at half health cant regen and shields are down then pop me with a good shotgun(not to be nooby but it works)
