How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

1 ReplyI love the Vex and I've used it for a while and after many games here are some tips: 1. Keep your distance and use Suros / good AR. 2. If you're good with last word or thorn you can dominate Vex at close range (only two weapons which have given me trouble). 3. Accuracy is key here to reduce that all-important TTK, so avoid just spraying and praying.

You have good aim? why is this even a question? that gun is a little tough to deal with some times, but it's not even close to impossible. get a good gun, aim it well, and kill

Stager round keep them off me pretty well

Just do Close-quarters related stuff. They'll be shooting at a medium range, if you can get inside close range. They won't have enough time to respond.

Keep your distance and snipe (Vex has lousy range) or use OHK weapons like shotties and fusions.

1 ReplyThe last word is the ultimate answer. I get outshoted with it all the time. then Thorn and Hawkmoon also suros regime is really good. try to strafe while shooting

If anything starts annoying me too much in PvP, I just switch to my Thorn (otherwise, I use whatever weapons I am leveling) Also, sometimes I will just leave an unbalanced match and go find another match.

Super charge, titan shoulder charge, anything that one shots,

Titan Shoulder charge. Even if they kill you, you usually can still hit them for the post mortem
