How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

Shotgun blink combo works for me, playing at a long range works too but can be difficult to keep track of him if you're on a 6v6 mode (easy to keep track of players in a 3v3)

Edited by Swiftlock: 1/31/2015 7:55:58 AMSuros Regime, Last Word, Thorn, Hawkmoon, Vanquisher, Shingen, Galahad, Clean Sweep, Overkill... Pretty much any decent hand cannon or auto rifle. The important thing is to utilize proper spacing. Don't blindly rush into corners and open areas. Be CAREFUL where you go when you traverse the map.

Shoot, strafe, shoot.

Play the distance. Snipers, long range autos, scouts, and a few hand cannons can take out targets across the map. Vex has a bad effective range, I rarely get killed by it from a distance.

Handcannons just don't miss not one shot because if you do you'll pay for it. You need to get all 3 head shots to make it out alive vs a vex. Or sniper rifle them in the face as soon as they come through the door. And the pocket infinity can counter it as well.

Return To Orbit It's the only way to be sure.
