How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

8 RepliesIt's a crutch weapon, plain and simple. People may not see it that way, but there's no weapon in the game more user friendly in the crucible. How you beat it is by outplaying the other person flat out. Prime them with nades, use your cover, use your vertical space.

Do vog hard and get one

Scouts. Stay out of the vex's effective range. Or hand cannons with luck in the chamber.

3 RepliesTough question, I had this problem too until I discovered a great way to beat them. This is probably the best way I have found of doing it... 1. Hold the left trigger to aim 2. Hold/rapidly press the left trigger to shoot. 3. Shoot them in the face

Well I have the vex and it's weakness is high impact if u have a high hitting gun and u shoot first u get the upper hand

Stand far away. Watch as they whiff every shot. Laugh.

Bad Juju actually kills faster in my experience. Assuming you can take them on one at a time anyway... Crouching helps. That will take you off the motion tracker.

Pocket Infinity > Vex (in Crucible).

I've handled many of these situation. I have 2 grenades so instant kill for 2 of them then run full force towards them with shotgun. I occasionally win the last part

You hide. Throw a grenade down, sprint, hide. Then you sit there with an auto rifle better.

Pray you shoot first all headshots or get em close range

They can be beat but it requires great reaction time. In close quarters you'll almost always lose save for shotguns or the last word, but at distances you have the advantage. Even with the stability perk the Vex has a bit of a kick to it. Don't stand still and you have a decent shot at killing them first.

You flank them and shit

Stop getting into mid range battles with them. Either get right up in their face with a shotgun or hit from a distance with a scout or hand cannon

Suros, last word, thorn, sniper, fusion rifle.

Head(Hand) Cannons are the best. Pull out the beast and unleash.

Thorn. Pop two shots and lingering does the rest. Khvostov is a beast as well. Full upgraded Suros, or at least the upgrade which allows the bottom half of the mag to do more damage. Perun's fire, fusion rifle pretty op this gun
