How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

I find it fires quick so your counter needs to be smarter play. Having something like Thorn or a decent handcannon means you can kill in 2-3 hits. It's certainly not unbeatable, but you definitely want to get the drop on them.

Thorn TLW Suros ANY Fusion rifle or Shotgun Not that hard honestly, it's a good gun, but really not hard to counter.

Probably like, shoot them. Maybe melee them. Throw grenades.

Get Good... is really not that hard to outgun a Vex

Up close run or shotgun if they are THAT close Medium range anything is competitive Long range vex is horrible.

By shooting the person using it? I don't find it overpowered. I have one and I don't do better with it in Crucible than with other guns.

Surros is good... Last word is my go to lately... There's also a good blue fun called the ghallad - e... If u roll one with a good perk it's worth keeping for crucible ... I've been using my vex less and less these days.. It's ashame that gun took sucha dip from what it once was

4 RepliesI swear the only reason people get outgunned by the Vex is the noise it makes. Because it's really not that much better than anything else. The Thorn is way more OP. Or any other fast fusion rifle. It seems like people just get startled by the noise and miss shots.

I use for the people with the stability perk and its got 34 bullets , outgun it all the time

Vex is best at medium range, so either go for short range blink-shotty combo, or run with snipers and scouts for long range battles

8 RepliesIt's a crutch weapon, plain and simple. People may not see it that way, but there's no weapon in the game more user friendly in the crucible. How you beat it is by outplaying the other person flat out. Prime them with nades, use your cover, use your vertical space.
