How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

TLW and Thorn have a faster TTK and better accuracy at range. Source: 2.59 KDR, wrecks mytho users all the time.

Tactical skill.

Keep your distance. The vex destroys at close range,but has a horrendous range drop off. Or you could just use a fusion rifle, the last word, or suros regime

Ya the Vex is a melting machine and i get killed by it alot but i need a Suros there is people hitting me from across the map on difficult angles. Suros is hard to counter. Shotguns and Fusion are annoying but easy to kill but it's the dam snipers that are most annoying. It's like one guy will snipe and 3 guys will protect him then wonder why they are losing 18,000 to 5000 with 5 mins left to play. I like to win but i hate games where we just mop the floor with them because they don't try to cap zones and engage they just hide and snipe. Rant done.

Just use your face. Seems to work for the people I run against when I do Pvp. I start shooting and they block it with their faces.

Best way to counter is to stop the wining and get a better aim or start thinking more ahead, so u stop going into pointless gun figths.

3 RepliesIts good but not as good as people make it out to be. It excels in one area. Mid-range. Everything else and it gets outgunned. Even with send it. Good players know when to challenge vex users and when to bail and live to fight another day. Same with any gun. It's all about knowing where your gun excels. Stay out of Mid-range confrontation and you will shred them. Source: a vex owner and have fought many
