3 RepliesI see you added the name "RNGer" to the list I'm going to stand firm on what I said before: There is no such thing as xurner. There is earning (strange coins to buy something from xur) and rnger (a person who is afk in crucible and gets ghorn) There is no 3rd option to me. Even if you grinded VoG hard for months to get the mythoclast its still rnging. You don't know you will get it on that run, so its rng. Even though bounties make you work for your weapon, it still requires rng to get the bounty, therefore its another rnging. I'm not saying rnging is wrong, I myself got most of my gear that way, but you can't say you earned your weapon when xur sells it. And thats my argument, your turn

I don't what I am. My RNG is usually shit, but today in CE normal mode I got three pieces of raid gear, along with a Thunderlord from a Nightfall.

All 3 lol. I spent 10 hours in CE HM at crota, and he dropped hawkmoon for meh. Thats a combination of the first and last, and i bought icebreaker, so, thats the middle.

I'm all of them. I earned some through bounties, bought some from Xur, and got lucky with rng.

RNGer Only raid weapons and bounty weapons are 'earned' to a degree

Lucky Bastard: RNG drops Hawkmoon, 2nd Hawkmoon, Plan C, Voidfang Vestments, Skull of Dire Ahamkara.

I'm an opportunist. I'll take whatever I can however I can get it. I don't care if it's as loot drop, Xur, or I get stupid lucky and am that guy that gets an exotic for doing poorly in the crucible(only happened once!) My only issue with Xur is when he sells something like The Last Word or Suros Regime and it's all you see in the crucible for weeks.

I have used these three methods. Really, the first two are the only ones that feel earned to me. Complete bounty, get exotic. Complete weekly heroic for strange coins, buy exotic from Xur. Random drop from a loot chest, engram, or activity reward.

A mixture of Xúrner and RNGesuser with just a tiny little smidge of Earner.
