Best Sniper ?? ( in your opinion no hype )
Hey everyone, I was just wondering what is the best all around sniper in the game? :s
In your own opinion...
Edit1: Well guys it looks like the IceBreaker and BlackHammer followed by Patience and Time are the top 3.
Edit2: Lots of suggestions including raid snipers and iron banner snipers that all get an honorable mention!

Ice Breaker, followed by Black Hammer - BUT - I have been using Black Hammer much more often lately.

PvP - Praedyths Revenge, Efrideets Spear - have one rolled with Unflinching, Perfect Balance or Armor Piercing, and Final Round. Its and LDR5001 with higher impact final round and unflinching basically. Better all around stats than the Blackhammer. PvE - For Boss fights obviously Black Hammer, All Around Ice Breaker. On my Hunter if you would like to see it.

I feel the best sniper rifle for PvP is probably Efrideet's Spear; Ice Breaker for PvE.

I gotta say Icebreaker, i got a sorus regime but i never use it cause i always tend to need my Icebreaker the rechargeable ammo is nice and it hits like a truck its the best multi purpose sniper I've used so far

2 RepliesPatience and Time is probably the smoothest and most impressive sniper. Icebreaker gets used the most because of regen and ridiculous impact. It's a great sniper, but if it didn't have regen I think more people would go P&T. Black Hammer is god against walkers, tanks, and stationary bosses. The Spear for pvp.

Blackhammer for sure, great for strikes and boss fights. But when it comes to killing off big masses of enemies deff go for icebreaker.

My LDR 5001 rolled solar, surplus, field scout, and clown cartridge. Has 8 rounds a lot of the time. My favorite as of now!

For PvP, I run Efrideet's Spear [with Final Round] exclusively since I got it. It does so much damage per shot (on par with Black Hammer) that the Final Round proc will make it a one-shot kill on everyone without a special effect (overshield, super damage reduction). Hell, it can one-shot without the Final Round if the enemy's health rating is low enough and because I've got APRs, I can one-shot through walls. For PvE, I'm not really a sniper person, but I generally run Efrideet's Spear or Ice Breaker if I were to.
