Best Sniper ?? ( in your opinion no hype )
Hey everyone, I was just wondering what is the best all around sniper in the game? :s
In your own opinion...
Edit1: Well guys it looks like the IceBreaker and BlackHammer followed by Patience and Time are the top 3.
Edit2: Lots of suggestions including raid snipers and iron banner snipers that all get an honorable mention!

Icebreaker > Black Hammer For these reasons: 1. Range. Significant range over BH. 2. Ammo regen. Always useful in a Nightfall or when you're in a jam and can't go out for ammo. 3. It sounds cool? I got nothin' after those first two.

1 ReplyPatience and time is extremely under rated. If ammo isn't a problem it easily does more damage than ice breaker. The invis perk is pretty useless but beneath that it's a very good impact and high stability sniper with great ammo capacity. Definitely worth owning.

There's something about never having to reload or worry about ammo that lets you play better. Ice breaker can be used in the most situations of all snipers. And I almost never need to snipe fast enough where I hit 0 ammo with it. Next I would def say black hammer for crit hit bosses. Strikes were never so easy. [i]im speaking from a pure pve perspective.[/i] I'm not really taking pure power into consideration because both snipers are extremely powerful. I'd rather take their usefulness in different situations and circumstances into consideration

Ifrideet spear is highest dps I think. I have one with final round and fast reload when empty with 3 rounds. I'm quite fond of it.

For bosses and large enemies Blackhammer is be best snipar plus it is not an exotic. For general PvE Icebreaker kicks serious *** its regen, range, and large capacity works well for general PvE.

Of course ice breaker is great for long distance fights for example in the valus taaurc strike. But my ldr5001 is also really good too it has firefly and fieldscout and feels really nice all in all.

To be honest, I love the Icebreaker. I also use Praedyth's Revenge depending on the situation. I received Patience and Time last week in the Vault, but I have yet to upgrade it (focusing on Icebreaker at the moment).
