bungie, is this a joke or insult?
I received a legendary from nightfall that turned to be 2 ascendent shards. Really? Is this a joke or insult to your players? I am not doing nightfall again because all i ever get is garbage. I haver all this about hype Bungie and Destiny before the game came out. I guess it was just that, hype!

Eh doesnt bother me. I do enough hard raids and heroics that at the end of the week i have a couple new weapons. Dont count on one engram

Took us 45 min in and out of that stupid room. It took so long i bounced and didnt bother with the weekly. No fun but good glimmer though.

I'm so tired of these posts! Read the description before you turn it in next time.....it gives you a chance.....CHANCE.....for a legendary item OR ascendant materials. I know its disappointing hoping for none thing and not getting it, but its clearly stated what you can expect, just be glad they don't turn into rares anymore!!

Yep, I got my legendary engram from postmaster, which stayed a legendary primary weapon up until I brought it to rahoo, then the -blam!-er gave me 2 shards, I was speechless to say the least. They make it take way longer to level up cryptarc and tell us it's for our bennifit to get better drops! How the -blam!- do you let a -blam!-ing legendary "weapon" engram turn into shards?! How the -blam!- is this possible. YOU said that you were not going to do this anymore, why do you guys still have to tell lies?!!

All I ever get from nightfalls is legendary drops, only reason I do nightfalls is because of the 25% increase on all experience for the week! Only reason I do weekly heroics is for coins! Can't complain too much tho, I get exotic drops off of ROC, and I can do those infinitely, there's only 1 nightfall per week per charecter

2 Repliesit happens to me every week when I raid VoG HM and Crota, I get energies in Crota and bullshit shards in VoG HM and thats it. I sit back and watch my friends get Ghal, Vex, and all kinds of amazing weapons and I get nothing but shards. EVERY Week. this game is a POS.

Wow you would have gone postal if you'd been playing since release. Back in my day purples were blues, blues were whites and whites kicked you from the game.

Be happy that once a week they give you a higher chance to get something good and that you don't have to get your exotics through legendary engram drops only

Me and my buddy ran it yesterday wiv our hunters and spent most of it invisible and squealing like girls (cos we are :p) I got 10 energy and she got 7 energy, I will not repeat what we said..... :p

it is simply bungie pissing on you leg and telling you its "RNG". they have added random plus random to create shit. like adding an apple pie to a stew , it all turns to shit nobody really wants.

2 RepliesThe Nightfall [i]rewards[/i] are random... just like everything else... it's happened to plenty of us, myself included. I guess it was your turn in the barrel. I know... it kinda sucks when it happens. I go into the Nightfall NOT EXPECTING ANYTHING. The REAL reward from the Nightfall is the XP/Rep buff for the week... the loot drops are just the icing on the cake.

We are sorry that Bungie doesn't review every single account upon completing the Nightfall, and furthermore read the mind of said player in order to give them exactly what they want.
