Timur's Lash... The superior hand cannon.
Im starting to think the reason why Timur's lash is not spoken about is because a lot of people don't have it. The impact and range craps on the WoC and fate bringer... It decimates the thrall when doing the lamp run . The only draw back is the 7 bullets in the chamber and the reload speed but a perk will sort that. I know its all about preference but its about time Timur's Lash got some God dame respect.
Edit 1- glad to see so many Timur's Lash owners posting. Loving the comparison of perks. Its a special gun that not every one has.

I have Timurs Lash 1.0 and it is my go to gun for crucible, I have Zen Moment and Luck in the chamber with the 13 rounds and it is a monster

I love mine. I kept rolling perks until I got the reload faster when magazine is empty. And I got the raider stays active perk which I am a huge fan of. I use this and my thorn as my main primaries now.

2 RepliesSpent 120 motes of light re-forging it but got outlaw ( precision kills dramatically reduce reload time ) , field scout ( 13 round mag ) and luck in the chamber ( 1 random bullet causes considerable bonus damage. Ive got HM , FB , TLW and dirty ass thorn but my timur lash beats them all , not bragging i actually really like HM, FB, TLW , but this hand cannon kicks ass , 1 shoting thrall and acolytes in hard mode crotas end , well worth the motes

The lash is my goto primary weapon since it dropped for me in the second IB. Grinded the last to get the new 331version. Ended up with field scout crowd control and the perk that increases range when you ads. Tried other hand cannons but the range just sucks. You can pretty much snipe with this one. This hand cannon is beast!

Edited by Aeoss_: 1/30/2015 4:24:17 PMive got two. one for my hunter, and one for my warlock. rolled for pvp but i can use them for pve also the warlock has outlaw, perfect balance, and feeding frenzy. +50% reload speed on critical kill, and +20% reload speed on any kill. this can stack and get me a total of 70% reload speed boost. pretty much a scout rifle. i use it in combination with efrideets spear incase i dont kill you on the first shot, the lash will. the hunter has outlaw, perfect balance/field scout, and luck in the chamber in pvp i roll with the perfect balance to increase my chances of getting luck in the chamber to activate (1 out of the 7 bullets does 33% extra damage) which will kill you in two shots if one of them is lucky. used with just about any special secondary, and radegast fury rolled with horseshoes (proximity) and field scout.

But I rolled my TL to: -outlaw -field scout -luck in the chamber It's a beast and it's not even maxed out yet. I love the re-roll option for iron banner weapons, I wish they'd incorporate it into the rest of the game somehow

10 RepliesI got zen moment (boosts stability), who's next ( increase reload speed), and the option of either perfect balance, flared magwell, or field scout. This is possibly the best roll on the gun.

Outlaw/fieldscout/luckinthechamber Sorta wish it had crowd control but regardless it smashes. IIRC my WoC (w/out counting hive disrupt or as I didn't want to break the other perk) hits those lvl33 Knights in Crotas crystal room for 430 Crits, my timurs hits for 510 and luckinthechamber bullet prob hits for over 600. I never understand when people hate on it, it's an awesome handcannon

Oh yeah. I re-rolled one of mine with MoL until I got one with Outlaw, Flared Magwell, and Third Eye. Second favorite hand cannon, right behind Fatebringer.
