3 RepliesEdited by Dismal Trauma: 1/29/2015 10:58:17 AMOf the people saying no to this question, I would wager at least half will revert and purchase further content once the marketing Goliath that is Activision rolls out it's hype machine. This hype machine is a machine of war, a war on our gullibility, and more often than not it wins. Activision has mastered the art of retaining gamers through psychological manipulation and incredible marketing techniques - they invest nearly as much money into the hype for the game as the game itself. A lot of people making claims here, but not many will be able to resist. They will fall for it again and be refilled with regret 2 months after.

I think what we really need to do to get these issues at least addressed is to stop posting on this forum. Noone outside of our little Destiny community sees any of these issues. Bungie obviously doesn't care what their consumer base says. No one outside of this community, knows to the extent that we do, about how many BS promises were made, or how many things were noticeably cut from the game in order to be re-sold. We need to start spreading the word outside of this forum. Someone make a webpage, or a social media page highlighting all the BS that Bungie is doing. If nothing else, media outlets will catch wind of this and it'll get more exposure. I honestly feel really bad for people who are just now buying this game and are not aware of what they're coming into. Change won't come from us bitching in this forum, if anything it'll make BeeJ reply even less.

I'll buy it, but I'll watch videos of what's in it first before purchase
-
2 RepliesI shall purchase the goty edition when it's in a dump bin for 10 bucks. I'm in no rush to line the pockets of lying good for nothing wasters!

Destiny 2 needs to be drastically different, or else I think it will die away pretty quickly. I say that, but then I turn around to see cod still alive

Depends if it the same as this game most likly not if they make improvements from there failure and give us a story then yes
-
I will buy it some time after it comes out. Gives me the chance to figure out what the general opinion is.
-
I'll buy a sequel and a prequel
-
I will.
-
I dont preorder games cause it hurts the players in the end. I will most likely buy it . I like the game i like the mechanics and i want to see where this journey will take me :)
-
Yeah i'm going to wait and see. I will not be pre ordering. After buying the season pass i've learned my lesson.
-
4 RepliesI'll probably buy it, but I'll wait for some reviews and such to come out first.
-
I will.
-
I will
-
No, I'm over wanting this story. I for one will not be jerked around for ten years while they try to tell a story I'm not interested in anymore.
-
I might, but I will rent it to play test it first.

Edited by McHarmonies: 1/29/2015 6:14:07 PMThis isn't the Bungie I grew up with. I wont. I may not even purchase House of Wolves. My buddy got the pass and depending on his verdict, I will either purchase HoW or TDB will have been my last Bungie purchase.
-
I will and so will millions and millions of people
-
I lol'ed so hard when I read this title. You made my day :P
-
bungie still owes us the 80% of destiny we did not get day 1. plus with the little effort bungie has put in to fixing bugs now what makes us think they care or will put out anything ever again thats worth it ? destiny is proof of greed and not much else. there is allmost no pve content/story. why bother ?

2 RepliesTough question. I will be highly cautious when considering throwing money at Bungie again. For every Call of Duty there is a Battlefield and similarly, for every GTA there is a Saints Row. There is surely another developer working on a Destiny type game right now and I bet they are looking at all the mistakes made by Bungie and are aiming to capitalize accordingly.

half you people saying no ...well guaranteed your lying to yourself and will still buy it lol

Sequel? I thought we were still playing the beta
