If you are a 32 in the crucible I have some questions for you. Why would you wear raid gear in the crucible? Do you need to reload faster while the over souls out in blind watch? NO YOU -blam!-ING DONT CAUSE THERE IS NO OVERSOUL IN PVP
In my opinion the highest level you should see is a 31 in Crucible. Simply because crotas raid armor is for PVE and NOT PVP
BUMP IF YOU AGREE
My point is that there is way better legendary gear for PVP, you can have a lot of intellect discipline and strength and perks that actually help you on all pieces rather than wearing CE raid gear that helps you only to an extent in PVP
I'm not saying you can't be good wearing the raid armor in crucible, I'm saying why wear it when there is level 31 gear for the crucible...
I get where most of you are coming from, but I'm still waiting on a valid argument on this topic
Saying I'm stupid and that my k/d is low is irrelevant. Let's talk facts. Someone with real intellect step up and let's talk
I don't think I'm the best at anything on destiny, all I wanna know is why people wear PVE gear in PVP?
-
Why be 31 when you can be 32 is how I look at it. I don't care about the stupid perks crucible armor or whatever you're talking about gives you The difference in performance using 31 armor and 32 armor is negligible.
-
Why does it matter?
-
I wear that because it looks cool an who gives a shit. I'm not gonna level up separate sets of gear.

Edited by B000K: 1/28/2015 8:50:01 PMWhat is this 31 crucible armor you speak of?
-
Is this a joke thread or are you that silly
-
Pls... Relax... You scrub...
-
I've got great stat rolls on my raid gear. If I played crucible I wouldn't hesitate to use them.
-
My raid gear lines up perfectly with my playstyle and how I have set up my Titan.
-
Why does it matter to you what armor someone else is wearing?

Virgin
-
In this game it just does not matter much until they make gear completely PvP based.

10 RepliesEdited by Rein: 1/28/2015 4:06:29 PMAlright, let's begin. Raid Armor and Other Armor both share the same stat allowances. Also, the extra perks given to Raid Armor are in addition to he standard perks. Helmets: Two perks that modify abilities/interaction with abilities Arms: Two perks. 1 that adjusts reload speed of a weapon. 1 that modifies abilities/ interaction with abilities Chest: Two Ammo Cap perks for two separate weapons Boots: 1 Ammo Cap perk for a weapon. That being said: Raid Helmets Do not make much a difference. However +Defense and +Light will matter in the Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris Raid Chest Armors Do not make a difference. However +Defense and +Light will matter in the Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris. Very select Exotic Chests may carry a Heavy Weapon Ammo perk. Gauntlets Can make a difference. Raid Gauntlets only have Special Weapon Loaders. This perk is unique only to Raid And Exotic Gauntlets. This is important for players who have an emphasis on Shotguns and Fusion Rifles for their mainstay in the Crucible. However +Defense and +Light will make a difference in the Iron Banner or Trials of Osiris. Raid Leg Armors Can make a difference. The Heavy Weapon Ammo perk is, for he most part, unique to Raid and Exotic Boots, with only specific Exotic Chest Armors being the exception. However +Defense and +Light will make a difference in the Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris. In summary: Leg Armors and Gauntlets from the Raids will very noticeably modify your options in the standard Crucible. Other Raid Armors are effectively exchangeable for any other piece of Legendary quality gear, however, will provide a statistical advantage over your opponents in the Crucible Events. Note: Iron Banner Gauntlets offer Auto Rifle and Scout Rifle Loaders at Defense+366 and Light+36 (as of 28th Jan, 2015), which will be a Lv.32 option for Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris, if you prefer the use of Auto Rifles and Scout Rifles over Hand Cannons, Pulse Rifles, or Special Weapons in the Crucible or Iron Banner, and Trials of Osiris. My full Raid armor set-up has me at: 100% Super Cooldown 48% Grenade Cooldown 21% Melee Cooldown However, I never use simply "full raid gear" Raid w/ IB Gauntlets 100% Super Cooldown 68% Grenade Cooldown 0% Melee Cooldown Various Exotic options also modify my stat. I try to keep the highest possible stat provided on those. My armor options offer me: Special Weapon Loader (Raid) or Scout Rifle Loader (Iron Banner) Sniper Rifle Ammo and Scout Rifle Ammo (Raid) Heavy Weapon Ammo (Raid) In Addition: I have all Exotics that have static perks to adjust those. I hope this is "intellectual" enough for you.

I like spawning with 2 grenades....
-
What does it matter , players are free to do what they want ??
-
2 RepliesI wear only the raid legs in pvp. Even ran Iron Banner as a 31 because I liked the perks on my gear and it worked better than my 32 gear. Objekt Helm with increased grenade throw distance and super energy gained from grenade kills, IB gloves with increased scout reload speed, Armamentarium, and CE raid boots. Or IB chest and gloves, Helm of Inmost Light, and CE raid boots. I never run pvp at level cap.
-
I simply like the stats on my raid gear so it works well for me.
-
I don't need to carry more scout rifle armor the -blam!- I care about pvp armor
-
5 Replies1. You have 2 hunters 2. None of them are 32 3. You have 0 unbroken medals 4. You have 0 Sum Of All Tears Medals 5. You have a 0.66 KD in the Crucible ALL DEFINE THAT YOU'RE SHIT.
-
Maybe cuz i dont care about yours or anyone elses opinion and will play the game how i want. Do u not have raid gear?, extra ammo for heavy weapons and auto rifles is a good perk. It doesnt matter what armor u have in the crucible, that lvl 9 titan with the shotgun is still going to own you.
-
Why do you care?
-
I totally agree, I put gear on that makes me 27 but I have faster reload, more ammo and other perks I use. Plus raid gear looks like ass
-
Maybe only because they deleted or didn't purchase any gear and don't want to spend time tiger it again. I see where you're coming from, though.
-
2 RepliesHonestly I just like being 32 and I for some reason like my guardians to look awesome so I put whatever gives me the most light and that looks cool and that just happens to be the raid gear
-
I don't fully understand wtf it matters to you what someone else is wearing? Hell if I could where a bunny suit in crucible, you can bet your ass I would.
-
There's still slight difference in level in crucible if I'm 32 going against a 20 odds are I'm going to win unless he has a shotgun super fusion rifle or heavy
-
And the dumbass of the day award goes to....
