So Datto soloed the nightfall
It took him nearly an hour to solo and he had several close calls.
Paraphrasing, he said don't do this to yourself, this is torture, etc etc.
He got no land beyond as a reward.
To quote tumblr "hELP I AM CRY!"
Edit: let me clarify some stuff. I am not promoting Datto's YouTube or twitch channels. I am merely saying that, as a somewhat famous Destiny player, it was more hilarious when he did his nightfall solo run and got NLB. I'm not saying he's the best, several comments are proving that. But whether it was easy or hard, solo or with a group, the reward he got was hilariously sad.

NLB needs upgrades to be worthwhile. The Master has been the most powerful Sniper upgrade, period. And this solo is SUPER easy with the burns and no lightswitch.

Me and my friends did it three times in hour he wasted his time . I soloed the nightfall and all I got was no land beyond. Lol serves him right.

eh, just stay outta the room with the enemies only poking your head in now and then and anyone can solo them. they are just longer and boring that way tho. so much more fun, faster and same rewards with friends

Don't see why it's hard when you literally have the most room to retreat back to then any other strike gives you at the boss fight.

I was running it with a group and we got to Omnigul. I then when to equip icebreaker and when I got out of my inventory the fight was over after it had just started!

Who hasn't soloed nightfalls by now? I've done like 4 and I hardly ever play this game anymore

I never had a close call until I got to the very end and they joined, which allowed me to take risks. Fatebringer, Icebreaker, and HoC all the way to the boss, then swap to Light of the Abyss and GHorn. Took me 35 minutes. I've watched Datto play before and I'm not impressed.

Big deal. It took me and two guys to kill the thing in 10sec. Not hard to do solo.

That ogre at the end killed me. And by killed me I mean absolutely obliterated me. I was dead instantly. So frustrating. I even had my Gjallarhorn ready for Omnigul.
